Hey.... Yeah, um sorry for not posting in a reallllly long time, nobody has really read this book but I decided I'll come back and try a few chapters... We'll see how it goes.

I was finishing up my nightly routine of showering and pretending to be asleep when Aunt Izzy came in to check on me before she went to work for the night. I wish I could help her out with the money but that would risk me being exposed. I obviously don't do well around people... I don't think I'm quite ready for a job...
I was suddenly snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a noise coming from outside my window. I went silent and slid off my bed, carefully maneuvering around the squeaky floorboards (yes, I've memorized my floorboards like Nancy Drew memorized the stairs to the attic). I soundlessly make it to the window and peer through the curtains and see no one.
Of course that didn't stop me from slipping out my window, and quietly walking out into the forest.
I stretch my legs and climb up into my favorite tree to relax in the moonlight.
Then I hear a noise again. This time I know it something large and close. I hug the tree, blending in to my surroundings. That's when I see him... Although last time his eyes weren't glowing.
I don't dare to even move, he walks almost soundlessly through the fallen leaves... Then he stops, eight underneath me. I will my heartbeat to quiet when he looks up at me, and he does see me... And he smiles.

I'll try to get another chapter up by tomorrow, but I have a dentist appointment.. So no promises.
