Hey guys, sorry this would have been done sooner but I got my phone taken away and then wattpad decided to delete half this chapter -_-
Well anyway, enjoy :P
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Aunt Izzy first checked on Stephen in his room down the hall. She took a minute so I assume she went and tucked him back in. He always seems to wiggle out of every one of his blankets...
Then she came in my room and I heard her walk over to the table next to me. I had a frame there with a picture of my parents and me when I was a baby. She really misses them... I never really knew my parents. I try to talk to Aunt Iz about it sometimes but... She says they were in a bad car accident. I always think about what it would be like to have a car. To drive it everyday and fight through heavy traffic on a highway or something. Too bad gas prices skyrocketed.. And everyone gave up on electric cars...
Cars were so uncommon in our little town, but the few who did have them, had jobs out of town and only used them to travel through the towns.
That's when I realized I lost myself in thought that I was nearly asleep. I got up, grabbing my clothes and walking out to the bathroom. I peeled off my clothes from the day before and did my usual morning routine, humming gently to myself.
Once I was finished I walked to Stephen's room and knocked on the doorframe to wake him. He yawned and sat up, So i left him to get ready for school and went towards the Kitchen. I passed by my Aunt's room and saw she was already fast asleep. I smiled then got myself a snack before I walked outside to wander around.
I knew I had plenty of time before the bus comes so I went and walked through the trees, and enjoying the feeling I get when I go outside. It's a mixture of calm and worry-less bliss. Ever since we moved out here it has been amazing to explore the scenery. We live in a small, tree-filled valley, higher up in the mountains. The temperature is perfect, cool but not too cold. And the hills around us protect us from harsh storms in the winter. I like it here.
I am interrupted mid-thought when I realize how quiet it is. I don't stop walking, making sure o don't cause suspicion to the person following me through the trees. I duck under a branch and spin, grabbing my stalker by the hair, and spinning him until I can brace my arm against his throat. That's when I realize it's Blake.
I shove him off me, "why are you following me again?" I hiss.
He rubs his neck, "well I came to make sure your safe but it doesn't look like you have much of a problem defending yourself."
I shrug, "I have well trained instincts," I reply, modestly.
He nods and walks up to me and kisses me. I stand there in shock for a moment then shove him away from me. "I bet your instincts didn't tell you that was coming," was all he said before he jogged away, towards the bus stop.
