I sat in my basement with my hands on my head holding my hair back. My thick, dirty, royal blue hair. I was getting lectured again by Alexander saying that it wasn't normal for someone to just have basement filled with knives, swords and daggers going all around the walls and some were hanging on the ceilings ready for someone to take it down and use it. I needed to tell him that they were all for protection purposes, he just scoffed and ignored me as i told him that each one of those knives have saved my life at least once. I shook my head then grabbed the small pistol off the wall and slid it into the back of my jeans standing up and pushing my hair out of my eyes so i could see. I grabbed a black jacket off of the chair and slid it on, the handle of the gun was hidden but that wasn't good enough for me. I grabbed two solid knives and slid them into the sleeves of my coat, there were little holsters specifically for that purpose. I shoved a butterfly knife into my pocket along with a lighter and sighed as i did so. I looked at Alex and he shook his head before grabbing a double barrel shot gun and walking out of the basement almost as fast that he had came in a few hours before. He had deep purple hair that was covered in a sheet of black. His eyes were always ringed with black eyeliner and his face was almost never smiling. He was married to a girl named Bella, but she hated me since i always dragged him into this kind of stuff. He was my cousin after all. I walked out of the basement after him, the solid stairs made a slight clicking sound from my shoes having a steel bottoms to them. As i got to the top of the stairs i gave my dog Max a simple pat on the head and walked to the kitchen grabbing an apple. Alex had his arms crossed and he was judging me for the kind of person i was, weapons all over my body and i own a great dane yet i eat all fruits and vegetables. I crunched into the apple and grabbed one for Alex since he would be bitchy about how we need to stop for food before we got there. I knew he would never eat the apple and i wondered how he stayed fit other than living at the gym where Bella would never take a single step. I was wondering many things about him but as i got the front door to my house, i unlocked the six locks that were mostly bolts or chains that went across the small crack, he made a sound in his throat. I turned around and he gestured to Max who was sitting and watching us with his head cocked to the side. I sighed then tossed him the rest of my apple, he caught it and started eating it making a big slobbery, juicy mess all over the wood floor that i just had cleaned. "Thanks Max.." I muttered as i walked out the door and say the wasteland of what has become the world. Everyone had their phones glued to their hands and their eyes down, little earbuds in and there was a new townhouse neighborhood around every corner. As i walked to my car, i turned on the music that i always do, loud and annoying. I had on Falling in Reverse the last time i was in here so thats what it bellowed. As i drove down the road, i watched for different kinds of people until i slowed down and got out of my car putting the barrel of my gun against one girls forehead. She screamed and i shot her, blood splattered onto me and Alex but we just heaved her up and threw her in the trunk. No one around us noticed and i shook my head as her phone began to light up with text after text. I smashed my foot down onto it and growled before i got back up and got back into my car, Alex close behind me. "How many more people need to die till they see their already dead.." I whispered and Alex was just screaming along to the music.
