Stuck in Roses.

Caught. I was caught in a thorn bush. Of course it couldn't be like a meadow of flowers or some shit i needed to be running in, it needed to be mother fucking new york city that they tried to make look all nice with little bushes and trees, but instead they just slow me down and make me get all caught up. I knew my partner would never in a million years let this go. I can hear him now saying 'Hey little Rosey, remember when you face planted into a bed of roses?' which will be a living hell due to the fact that he has a photographic memory and will remember every little thing that i have ever done wrong. It smelled like, of course, roses and it was starting to get annoying. But as i was getting pricked in twelve different places by many thorns, the cops couldn't find me. They probably could spot Ember within a matter of seconds no matter if he moves or stays still, he was just a walking stick of white. His white lab coat, white skin, white hair, white undershirt. But he did wear black pants today. Tonight was supposed to be our date night but instead, it turned into a job for his brother. His stupid brother had at least ten other workers but decided to let us do the little job of breaking into a bank and getting a good five million dollars for him. He said that he just wanted some extra money for a small experiment that he has just been dying to try. I was ready to kick that bastard in the balls for sending the job our way but didn't only since Ember was holding me back. Literally. I watched as i saw Ember go running pass me and started yelling my name as loud as he could. I was hidden behind the flowers and the leaves, so he didn't see me. I wiggled out of my dangerous hiding spot and i'm sure all someone would be able to see would just see a head of red hair just pop up out of nowhere. I got up and grabbed my bag that was still in the bush and quickly yanking it out, i slid off my lab coat and stuffed it inside, i wrapped it around the stacks of money that we had managed to get out and looked down at the black and red dress that i had on. Straightening it out, i shook my head and walked down the center of the street with my bag over my shoulder and Ember's screams heard in the distance.
