"Sky, honey, you'll be late for school", my mum says, shaking me lightly by the shoulders as I curl up more and more in my childish pink duvet. "Chris?" I mutter under my breath. My mum looks puzzled, and I suddenly feel my heart break. It was a dream, just a stupid, wishful dream. "I'm up, I'm up," I respond, waving my arms as a queue for mum to leave. She gets the message and nods slightly, and goes. Once the door is once again shut ,I slowly sit up, my eyes adjusting to the dim light that could get through my faded curtains. I sit on the edge of my bed, and put my head in my hands, my eyes becoming misty with tears at the thought of never actually being with Chris. "Stupid!" I scream in a tiny whisper to myself. Why would I even think I have a chance with him? The fittest boy in our year, well one of them anyway.
