When I wake, I am disorientated, but am soon calmed when I realise I'm in my room, not at school being laughed at my everyone including Molly and even Rose and Chris. I lean back into my pillow, feeling the heat from the rays of sun peeking around the curtains until I can stand it no longer and get up. Today, however, I don't put on one bit of makeup. If Chris likes me better without, then he must be right. I smile when I think of his expression when I see him today, and practically run downstairs when I'm dressed.
"Why the big rush?" Mum asks. Our relationship isn't quite fixed yet - we haven't spoken since last night. Suddenly, however, she envelopes me in a big hug and I hug her back.
"No reason." I grin. "See you later, Mum."
