“A bit eager are we?” she asked me as I sat in the seat opposite her

“I don’t care you’re my girlfriend I’ll be eager as much as I want”

“I love when you say that” she murmured before gently placing her lips against mine

It had been two weeks since that date and so far so good, I felt like I was locked up in heaven with Alana. We were with each other in our spare time and I know it wasn’t healthy but it was right and felt great. I still had to ask her about the thanksgiving dinner which was four days from now.

Someone cleared their throat making us pull apart; I looked up at the stranger to find a Greek god. He looked like he knew Alana as she kept shooting him glares and he kept sending her grins.

Finally tired of his flirting with her I cleared my throat drawing their attention to me “Hey can I help you” I asked surprised how polite my voice came through

“Yeah you can, I’m looking for my wife to be”

“Sorry but I can’t help you on that”

“You kinda can”

My eyebrows furrowed not knowing what he meant by that “How?”

“By moving away from her”

I looked at Alana to see her pleading with me not to believe him but I didn’t know what to believe

“Alana hasn’t mentioned any engagement recently”

“It’s because she doesn’t want anyone to know about our engagement she’s secretive like that” he winked at her to which Alana scowled

“Go home Craig, I told you to leave and never come back so just leave” Alana finally spoke up

“I told you I was going to marry you”

“I keep telling you get it through your thick skull I don’t want to get married or engaged or do anything with you. Go find yourself someone who you want to marry” she hissed at him

“I have she’s sitting right here in front of me with her so called boyfriend”

“Leave” she snapped at him

“It’s okay I will” I mumbled getting up and leaving the shop not caring that I still had another hour to go or that I was still in my uniform and that my car keys were still in the building

“Look what you’ve done you douche” I could hear Alana scream at Craig but I kept walking ignoring her calls for me

I reached my apartment in half an hour. I rooted underneath the plant pot to find the backup key I kept for emergencies such as now. As soon as I got in I walked over to my sofa and settled in it still trying to comprehend what had happened.

Deciding that sitting there on the sofa wallowing in self-pity wasn’t going to do or solve anything I turned on my games console and went to the kitchen to dig up some food, I needed to go grocery shopping, I reminded myself as there was very little in the house.

I managed to dig up some frozen yoghurt and a packet of chips to eat. Binge eating it was

For the next so many hours that I’d lost count of I spent the whole just beating and sometimes losing to components, my mind lost track of time as I was too busy in my mind to be brought back to the real world.

It was seven in the morning when I kept hearing someone pounding on my door, I paused the game that I was currently playing and removed my headpiece going to check whoever was close to breaking my door down
