The morning was not a pleasant time for the cannibal. You could tell just by one glance, which was all it took for Toby to keep away from the exhausted flesh eater.

Masky and Hoodie remained asleep, but Jack really didn't mind making something for Toby to eat. The youngest proxy trusted Jack not to use human to feed him.

While Toby ate quietly Jack downed two cups of coffee, which was an oddity for him. He found even a sip of coffee revolting, to bitter, to strong, to gross.

Two cups, gone like that.

Toby knew something was going to happen today, and not necessarily 'good' happenings either.

The youngest proxy wouldn't say out loud but on a level he was intimidated by Jack. It wasn't everyday someone could eat people without remorse, tear their body's apart and store them for later and have tea mixed with a bone and biscuits made with blood and human.

Toby knew to stay away from Jack at the current moment so after he was done eating went back to his room.

Jack reached for a water bottle full of blood in the fridge and found he could not calm down. Listening, a new sound and sight entered his vision.

Through the wall it was clear to tell somebody was coming down the stairs in a slow, ungraceful fashion. Looking around the bend he found Masky, mask less, going down the stairs and holding his head.

"Do you want anything to eat?" Jack asked watching as Masky managed to get down the stairs without hurting himself.

It took a moment for the cannibal's words to register. "...yeah, thank you Jack." Masky's voice was nearly a croak.

Going back into the kitchen Jack began making this proxy something to eat while Masky took a seat at the table and pulled out his phone. He didn't bother with headphones and sat back while trying to listen to the news.

"..And now for news around the country, what's the story today Calvin?

Thank you Jackson, it was discovered that yesterday more parts of eighteen year old Jonathan Morrison's body was found at the abandoned EverGreen mall in Virginia.

He appeared to have been torn apart by some sort of carnivorous animal. There are a handful of unidentifiable prints found all along his detached limb from bruising, and unrecognizable bite marks. The professionals say they haven't seen prints like these in years."

Jack came to the table holding an omelet for the proxy. He had been listening to the news with Masky and was worried about this story.

"The last time this happened it was told that they found and killed the creature that had devoured Mr and Mrs. Terry.

It is said that this creature is next to extinct. It is hypothesized that it came from the Middle East but nobody is for sure. The experts don't fully understanding how these creatures migrated or how they've survived without being seen for such a long time, and with that how they even were created..."

Jack hissed through his teeth. He had  not known Mr.Terry and Mrs.Terry personally, but knew of them through a previous kill some time ago. It had not been the government or cops that had killed the creatures that had devoured the married couple.

Going back to the stove he began cleaning up furiously, doing his best to keep occupied and not think about what he had just heard. He growled to himself with teeth painfully clenched.

Five hundred years of cleansing and I still haven't gotten ride of all the abominable scum like me, he thought with a sneer.

Taking an Advil Masky made his way back to his room to sleep the remainder of his hangover off. Before he shut his door Hoodie's door opened. They laughed when they seen each other, or at least chuckled do to the major headaches they had.
