((A/N; So I'm putting this here because the last chapter was kinda lengthy haha now let me start from the top, it took me a time to write chapter eleven. I don't mean both times. Yeah, the first time writing chapter eleven (which should also be this chapter) took me a long time because I was so stumped with how I wanted things to play out. Then, then ha ha, then I deleted it. I didn't mean to. But I did. And I was very, very angry with myself. To the point of tears.

So! I walked away and came back a few days later. But then I knew how events needed to play out, but it was difficult figuring out how to do that again. So, after about two weeks, screaming at myself for deleting the first go, glaring at the second and parts that I've rewritten over and over, here we are. And goodness I hope it turned out okay.))

Passing through the walls Jack was careful with all the pipe work and closeness, making sure nothing touched Hoodie if he could help it.

Walking for a few minutes they found another hole and stepped through into a black, vacant store room. Walking out of it and onto the wide walkway Jack went on, his feet loud in such a quiet place.

Hoodie watched as the last rays of the sun fluttered into the dusty skylights, giving the broken mall a lonely sort of feeling.

Snuggling into Jack the injured proxy sighed, happy to finally have him close after two months parted.

Within the darkness something peered at them with a mix of anxious emotions. Hoodie felt the gaze and a tingling sensation made its way through him, as well as Jack who could feel the stare even more powerfully.

Slowing his step to a complete stop the cannibal set Hoodie down onto his feet but held him, helping the currently weak proxy standing. Grasping his arm Hoodie focused his eyes around the huge area, searching for the watcher.

The suns last rays of dying light filtered through the shattered and dirty skylights, giving the abandoned mall an ominous air of dread.

"Do you think..?" Hoodie whispered, glaring into the dark of empty stores.

"Possible," Jack replied in a hushed voice. They continued to search.

The trash on the floor lay motionless in the windless, stuffy building. The glass lay undisturbed, the blood from the woman's feet could be seen clearly running across the mall, leading to the hole in the wall.

Lifting his eyes Hoodie searched the upper parts of the plaza for anyone or anything out of place. Nothing stuck out as odd or strange among all the shadows. Hoodie felt Jack's hand slowly grow tight, he could tell his duckling was worried. Hoodie rubbed his arm reassuringly and kept looking.

At the top of the escalator something stood out, something that had not been there before a moment ago.

Focusing his eyes on it Hoodie quickly figure it was a silhouette of another. "Jack," the proxy hissed and tugged on the the cannibals shirt in the direction of the other.

Behind his mask, Jack drew back his lips and growled deep in his throat. A moment later a whimper responded back, with a gentle groan at the end. Because of the response, Jack and Hoodie both knew it was another cannibal.

Jack held Hoodie tightly, not liking the situation at all. Hoodie glued his eyes on the shadow, determined not to let it get out of his sight.

In another growling sneer Jack spoke to them. "What's your name?"

Hoodie listened as they returned with a gurgling sound. Jack clenched his jaw and Hoodie could feel his uneasy atmosphere.

"What is it?" He asked softly.
