Why does the earth
Continue to revolve
While people
Starve
Bleed
Cry
Why
Why must homeless beg on the street
While rich people in fancy cars
Don't care
Watch
Stand by
Why
Why must families be torn apart
Leaving sobbing children
Distant teens
And parents struggling
To fix what is broken
They labor
They work
They try
Why
Then a Voice from above says
I know why
The people of the world
They're hurting
The people on the streets
They're shivering
The families torn apart
They're broken
But I can save them all
Their hurting will turn into
Comfort
Their shivering will turn into
Warmth
Their brokenness will turn into
Hope
Stay strong in your faith
The Voice said
For I am coming soon
I will turn your questions into
Answers
And you will no longer ask
