Percy's POV

Today is one of the absolute best days ever. My history teacher is taking the senior class on a field trip to Montauk Beach.
I get to stay in my own cabin, go swimming, and do all that fun stuff.
I changed into my swimming trunks, then left my cabin.

"Perce'!" My friend Marshall shouted. I turned toward him. "Why are you in that cabin?" He asked. "It's mine," I replied simply, and ran down to the water.
When I got back to my cabin an hour later I checked my phone.
Four missed calls from Wise Girl.
Ten text messages from Wise Girl.
One missed I.M from Wise Girl.
(A/N Leo invented a monster proof phone and I.M means Iris message, and it I the equivalent of FaceTime.)
I immediately grabbed my laptop and I.Med Annabeth.
"Percy?" She asked when the call went through. "We're you crying?" I asked.
She looked down and nodded. I slammed my laptop closed and vapor traveled to her house in California.
(A/N Vapor travel is like shadow travel with water.)
She yelped when I showed up but calmed down when she realized it was me.
I engulfed her in a hug and nestled my nose in her hair. She relaxed into my arms and started to cry into my chest.
I kissed her temple and shifted us so we were laying down.
"P-Perc-Percy I-I'm fi-fine hon-honestly." "I think the fact that your crying proves you wrong." I whispered back. "Now do you want to come to Montauk with me?" She propped herself up on her forearms, on my chest, and gave me a quizzical look, but nodded anyway.
She got up and told her dad where she was going, then I vapor traveled us back to Montauk.
"Oh son of a Fury, I have to go Annabeth, I'll be back in an hour, love you." I kissed her and left the cabin.
I ran to the campfire and got there just in time. I collapsed in a chair and took a deep breath.
"Where were you Perce'? You just disappeared." Maddison asked. I shrugged and made myself a s'more.
When Mrs. Olivander let us go back to our cabins, I changed out of my swim trunks and into my pajamas.

Annabeth was already in her pajamas, curled up in a ball sleeping on top of the covers.

I picked her up, put her under the covers, then crawled in next to her.
