I've been back in New York for a while now. I can't believe John gon' go ahead and fuck another girl. And to think he could handle long distance relationships. Anyway, I'm single, I'm not ready for another relationship after what happened. MIdterms are around the corner. I don't know what I'm going to do. Lately, I've been ditching Monique and her girls. I just wanted some me time. Time to study and time to have fun. But I don't know when I'm going to have time for that.
Monique's POV
Why? Midterms, why? I now have to study for the damn midterms that way I can be able to get in a good college. I try to keep my grades up but honestly, it is not a walk in the park. I mean tests are being thrown left and right. I don't even get some of the lessons. And all the damn time I get headaches. I get frustrated at everything. I just can't wait for this to be over. Then my head will stop hurting so much and I can actually concentrate on something.
