Courtney's POV
Well, midterms are over. I really hope I pass. I know I sound like a nerd, but the grades are really important to me, ya know? Anyway, Chris is still trying his best to win Monique's heart back. And she keeps on rejecting him. I kind of understand why he's doing it. Speaking of the devil, here he comes. Wish me good luck so I don't have to kick his ass outta my face.
"Hey Courtney. How you doin?"
"I'm good . How bout you?"
"The same. Listen, I wanted to ask you a question. It won't take long."
"Okay. What is it?"
Monique's POV
When I'm walking down the hallway, I see Courtney and Chris talking. I hope she tells him that I've had enough of him telling me almost every single day that he loves me, even though he know he don't.
Chris's POV
"Maybe we could hang out sometime? But if you don't want to, I understand. Monique's probably told you her side of the story," I said.
"No, it's okay. What time?"
"After school at my house."
"Okay."
I know it sounds like a trap, but it's not. I just want to see what Monique said about me.
