"So it's my fault again?! Look at yourself Daniel! Where did we go?! For the past year, we're not like this. But after you got into that job, everything changed."
"Look Ellen, I have to focus on my job! And not all the time, I have to give my attention to you!" he shouted.
"Oh, that's it?! Are you done?! I'm so over it! Why not just end this bullshit?!" I yelled.
"Come on, let's just do it! To end this desolate life of mine!" he shrieked.
I couldn't take this anymore, I just bursted into tears. Every time, it gets even worse.
He is not like the Daniel I've met a year ago. He is very thoughtful, he texts me every hour asking if I'm okay or not. But now, I don't think that he still cares for me.
I ran away from him going to the bedroom, locked the door, and cried all night.
I woke up, it's morning already! Around 10 am.
"Ugh I'd better go out and refresh my mind after what happened last night." I told myself.
I washed my face and brushed my teeth. As I went out of the bedroom, I saw shattered pieces of all our vases on the floor. But I couldn't see even a shadow of Daniel around. He's in his fucking job.
I cleaned his mess, prepared my breakfast, ate it, took a bath, wore fab clothes, and got away from this misery for awhile.
I drove my way to Holly's house. I told my boss that I won't be able to go to work today. I wanna meet her, not just because I want to tell her everything that happened between Daniel and I these past days. I miss that twat too.
*knock knock*
"Oh hello Ellen! I missed ya'!" she told me.
"Hi Holly! You too." I replied.
"Come in!"
"Thank you! It's been years since the last time that we met."
"I understand Ellen. We're far from each other. And I know that Daniel and you are busy."
"Actually about that-"
"About what Ellen? About you and Daniel?"
"Yes." I whispered.
I didn't realize that I'm crying after I replied to her question.
"What happened? Is there something wrong with you two?" she worriedly asked.
"Yes Holly, everything changed between us. He is not like the Daniel who's gonna wait for me outside my office, or the one who texts me every minute or hour to check if I'm okay. He's changed." I said.
"After he got accepted in that stupid job, he seldom texts me."
"Ooh, that's some tough issue Ellen. There's something wrong."
"What is it Holly? Tell me."
"I think that Daniel has..."
*toot toot*
"Hello Ellen? It's me Daniel. I called to say that I'll come home late. There are important things that I have to take care of. Bye!"
"Okay, I love you!"
*call ended*
"Who is it Ellen?" Holly asked me.
"It's Daniel, he called to say he'll come home late. By the way, what are you trying to tell me?"
"Oh nothing."
"Okay." I said and smiled at her.
"Do you want something to eat or drink?"
