As the sun was setting on a fun day full of absolute random bullshit, I stared out the window at a young couple who was getting VERY romantic. I looked away. It was too weird for me to handle. I really wished I had a girlfriend, but being a rockstar means that girls lie. Worse than normal, too.

I frowned and got up. I was all dressed for a show still, with no real reason behind it. I just wanted to stick out and have someone talk to me. I walked out into the hall at the hotel. Two very beautiful girls were standing out there. One was crying hard, and the other attempted to comfort her. "Holly, you know Chris would've wanted you to find someone else. Killing yourself won't make you closer to him. Just cool down for a few minutes."

The girl who'd been talking gave the crying girl, Holly, a hug and walked away. Holly sat down and sobbed. I decided to be daring. I walked over to her. "Hi. Are you alright?" I asked.

Holly sniffed. "Hmm? Oh, yeah."

"Can I ask what's the matter? A pretty girl like you shouldn't have to cry." I replied, sitting down next to her and trying not to groan.

She smiled slightly. Almost immediately, her smile faded back into a frown. "My fiance, Chris, passed away. He was in a car accident on the way out here for a concert." she sniffed, wiping her tears on her sleeve.

I looked down. How sad! I frowned. "What concert?" I asked, scooting a little closer to Holly and rubbing my hands together.

Holly sighed. "Our favorite band. The Black Veil Brides."

I frowned again. "I'm Ashley. I'm so sorry for your loss, by the way. Would you like to meet my friends? Maybe we could help you?" I offered.

She laughed. "Unless you guys are the Black Veil Brides, I don't see how you can he--" she froze in the middle of her sentence when she looked up and saw me.

I smiled. She freaked out. "Omigod! Y-you're Ashley Purdy!" she yelled, lighting up like a little kid in a candy store.

I laughed. "Why yes, yes I am." I sais, acting as if I just noticed it myself.

Holly laughed and accepted my outstretched hand. "Okay. Ashley. Show me what you've got."

I pulled her to our hotel room and let her meet the band. She told her story, qnd the band agreed to let her come to the Albuquerque concert for free and hang out bqckstage. We also swore we'd dedicate the concert to Chris. I was genuinely sad for Holly. She really loved Chris, and you could tell by the somber way she said his name.

I looked at her, sad for her pain. It showed in her deep green eyes. It was a pain that only love could fix and I was determined to be the cure.

HI!!!

I'm in a hotel in Arizona and I wrote this for you all... I feel like I owe it to you all. I love you all very much. Thanks for everything you've given me. I'll keep writing until the books are all done and then I'll write more. The Mortician's Daughter is slowly and sadly drawing to an end.... The sequel will come out soon after the last chapter, I assure you. Anyway.... I'm tired and this iPhone is hard to type on, so sorry for the short length of this chapter... I just wanted to put something out for y'all. Good Night!!!
