Chapter 15
Christian's pov
Last night with Jenna was amazing.
I rolled over to hold her and felt nothing.
Maybe she got up to use the restroom.
I got up and wiped the sleep from my eyes then looked around.
Her clothes were no longer scattered all over my floor.
Why didn't she wake me up and tell me she was leaving.
I checked my phone to see if she had called or text me but she didn't.
I really hope she wasn't having second thoughts.
I know I wasn't.
I wanted her in my life.
Now I just had to find a way to make that happen.
I had to find a way to break that contract and get out of this sham marriage.
I got up and took a shower since I had clients to meet with soon.
I got dressed and headed over to her room.
I actually missed her already.
I was falling hard for her.
When I got to her room I saw her and Stephen walking down the hall hand in hand.
Did last night mean nothing to her?
I composed myself and headed to the conference.
I would get answers later for now I had a job to do.
When I got to the elevator Jenna was still there.
He kept whispering in her ear then she would giggle.
They didn't even notice me at all.
I wanted to tear him apart for touching her.
I slipped in to the elevator and got behind them.
They acted like no one else was around.
she looked up at him with those amazing eyes.
I could feel the jealousy and anger radiating off of me.
I cleared my throat to see if they would finally turn around and see me.
Jenna looked back and had that deer caught in a head light look.
She quickly turned around, but didn't say anything.
It was like I didn't even matter.
I felt my heart shatter at that moment.
They got out and looked so much like a couple.
He could offer her everything I couldn't.
I guess last night was her way of saying good bye.
