Now I was in the middle of nowhere, huge long trees everywhere, the only thing I could see was the navy blue sky and moon and not a single living soul other than me. It was frantic, every part of the woods looked the same, I had no clue where I came from. Shivers ran down my spine as I looked around and everything around me started to zoom in and out, it was a blur vision. Either I was turning blind or it was my lack of sleep from the game marathon from yesterday.
Everything was dark, I didn’t know how long I was in this place. Maybe I was eaten by wolves already or rats. My head was aching so I opened my eyes slowly as though it was the hardest thing to do. It was such a relief to know that I was still in full body. I closed my eyes as soon as I opened them, the sun was bright and the trees were up straight. I leaned to my left so I could open my eyes and not have a black out. I sat up feeling like I had a hangover, it all came back to me. Last night, the girl, the disappearing path, the gust of wind and the dead silence. I started walking, gulping my saliva with my dry throat when I saw her again. I knew that following her would be of no use so this time I ran and stood in front of her leaving a distance of 2 meters or so. I finally saw her, i couldn’t tell apart if she was an angel or not. She had perfect pale skin, her green-playful eyes were so dark, her face was spotless and the way her hair fell to her hips,It all just seemed natural. She looked at me as though there was a raging fire in her which you blow me off but her eyes were calm and her face wrinkled making it look like she was scared. She moved away from me and bumped into a tree, and twig was into her arm, it seemed painful but her face was still expressionless. I went close to her and she turned her face away, making me feel like she didn’t want me near her but something was i had a nostalgic feeling around her. As softly as i could i removed the twig from her arm and she didn’t even spill a word.
“Hi, I’m Alexander. You can call me Xey.” i said, hoping for an answer.
She didn’t reply, she moved away from me. I walked back and fell over a rock, the same blur vision again, i could feel my blood pouring out from my forehead. I tried to get up it felt as though my body was stuck to the ground.
I woke in a place i’d never been to before, it was like when you were a kid, you’d fall asleep in your couch and when you woke up you’d find yourself on your bed. This time i wasn’t on my bed, i was in someone else’s, i looked around and no one was there and finally i saw her, the girl from last night and this morning. She was doing something with a pot over a huge lit fire, i sat on the bed and she handed me a glass of water. i sat right opposite to a little broken mirror, just hoping i wouldn’t have 7 years of bad luck. I saw a white cloth tied around my head with some cotton my the wound.
I had been sitting idol and quite for more than an hour now and she was fidgeting with everything around us and not a word from her mouth. She handed me a wooden stick with little twigs poking out, and an ointment.
“What is this for? What am i meant to do?” I asked.
She looked at me from the corner of her eye and acted what seemed like she wanted me to brush with the little wooden tool. I did as she asked and she gave me a glass of water to throw it all off. I loved her place, it was amazing, it was like leaving in Hawaii on a tree top.
“I’m Faith.” she spoke.
Her voice the most innocent that had ever reached my ears and i turned around to say,
“Why didn’t you respond to me the last time i spoke?”
