"Luke! Luke!!! No!" I screamed. I shook his body. This was like the other morning. Except, he wouldn't wake up.

I thought about how he was smirking at me when found my home.

"Get away from him! He'll turn fast!" Niall screamed, picking me up and dragging me away.
"Thank you, Niall. I don't even know how to handle this. I haven't lost someone in a while. I haven't had someone in a while." I said, hugging him tightly.
"I lost... a lot of people." Niall whispered choppily.
I sobbed into the hug and pulled away. I looked over to Luke. I mean, Luke's body. His skin was rapidly turning a green tone.
He's gone. Luke's gone. He couldn't be gone. I had just held him in my arms. How could Luke be here one second then gone the next?
I stumbled over to the desk near Luke's body, covered with all the vaccines.
"Be careful. Please, Ariana."
I ignored Niall and picked up the zombie prototype.
"Know anything about science?" I laughed, until i cried.
"How long did I even know him? 3 days? Four? 9? I can't even keep track of time!" Niall surprised me with the outbreak.
"Two." I mumbled.
"That's even worse!"
I heard a low grumble. I looked over to Luke's body. It was coming from him, or it.
"We have to leave, Ariana." Niall cleared his throat, wiping his tears.
I felt like cutting my own throat.
"No! No! I don't want to leave! And I don't want Luke gone! I want him ALIVE! I don't wanna be in a zombie apocalypse! I want to be LIVING!"
I looked at the many tubes of prototypes on the desk.
"USELESS!" I screamed, crashing them all over Luke's undead corpse. I don't care. That's not Luke. Luke's skin started to turn back a normal color as the prototype seeped through the cuts the glass made.
Niall stared at me blankly.
"Take your chance to let it out." He mumbled.
"Let it out. Let it out. LET IT OUT!" I shrieked, throwing everything onto Luke's body that I could.
I spilled mercury onto it, salt, hell I slapped it with lettuce. I spilled a blood packet into it's mouth. I don't care.
"He's gone! Gone!" I screamed. I spotted that shít used to electrify people to life in the corner. I think they it's called a defibrillator.
"Oh wow! Let's see if his brings him back! Oh wait, HE'S DEAD!" I screamed, putting the patches on Luke's grunting, undead corpse with wounds all over it's arms. The zombie couldn't even move yet.
"You're not Luke! Why can't everything about him just he gone?! It's easier!" I screamed, pressing the button. If it killed the zombie, could this device kill me? It survived 5 years!
The zombie still looked like Luke. It's skin was only barely green, but it seemed to fade with every flash.
"Leave! Just leave!" I yelled, turning the device off and pulling my life out.
"Ariana! Ariana!" The corpse said. Was my mind playing tricks? Now I'm crazy!
"Sweet baby jesus!" Niall screamed.
"What?!" I spat, turning around.
"Luke! That's what!"
I looked back at the corpse. It wasn't a corpse anymore. It's Luke. It was a weak, barley breathing, covered in cuts, beautiful Luke Hemming.
