"Vampires don't need much sleep." Damon says tiredly, after a whole day behind the wheel. "But we're almost in Pennsylvania." He turns to Stefan to ask if he can switch out the driving but Stefan's fast asleep. Damon purses his lips. He looks into the rear view mirror and sees Caroline resting her head on Bonnie's shoulder and Matt asleep on Caroline's shoulder. Damon sighs as he's only 10 minutes away from pulling into a hotel.

He turns on the radio real low and gently jams out to some Nirvana. Then very carefully, he switches the song out to Taylor Swifts, "style." It's a dark secret of his, that he's not comfortable with anyone knowing. He's one of her biggest fans.

"Midnight.." He whisper sings along with the song. "Come and pick me up no head lights.. Mm yeah."

He finally pulls up to a hotel called Altomore Place. It's an old looking hotel, like it was developed in the 50s. It's quiet too, and it's in the split center of rosewood.

Damon gets out of the car and let's his friends sleep a little longer while he goes inside to check in.

A little old man with white hair sits behind the front desk in the lobby. It's a quiet, kind of low-key cozy vibe. It smells faintly like lemons and theres floral wallpaper that's started peeling. The floors are a gray carpet. And the little windows, let in some of the early morning sun that illuminates the hotel with a soft glow. "Excuse me sir.." Damon approaches.

The little man looks up and grins widely. "Damon Salvatore!" He exclaims with a very raspy old voice. He has to be at least 80, going on 90 years old. "Ah Damon, Damon, I've been waiting for you, yes, you're finally here.. Come right this way to your room." The old man gets up.

Damon tenses up and his eyes widen. "How do you know my name?" Damon snaps, as the man urges him to follow through the hallway.

"Come, come this way." The man says.

Damon furrows his eyebrows, but follows him anyways. "It must be compulsion.." He says to himself. He stays on guard, ready for an attack.

The man finally reaches two doors in the middle of the hallway. "These are your rooms. He got it for you all." The man says like a robot.

"Who got it for me?" Damon asks.

"I can't say, sir."

Damon grabs the man by his shoulders, and looks into his eyes, using his compulsion. "I'm going to ask you one more time, who got these rooms for me?" Damon asks.

The old man freezes and isn't able to say anything. He blinks and walks away. He goes back to the lobby and Damon is left dazed and confused.

When he turns back around he almost falls over from the shock of who he sees.

"Did you miss me?" A guy with dark hair and a humorous tone asks.

Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily all greet each other, hugging. A few days ago, Spencer had called them all and asked to meet up back in their hometown. She told them it was urgent.

They all go to sit on the couches in the local coffee shop. Some music is playing and the place is dimly lit. It's pretty crowded and people are walking and talking all around. It gives them all a sense of nostalgia, and also unease due to the feeling of back when they were being tormented in high school.
