Author's Update

Hi guys ❤️ I want to always keep it real with you and update you all if something's up in my life that will affect my writing.

My whole life writing and creativity has been my safe space, like no matter what else, I'll always have this to fall back on. I've never had a writers block, if I ever stopped writing a story it's because I got bored of it, not because I didn't know what to write. I'm never at loss for ideas and all that and writing is my outlet, my escape, creating a whole world and a story and characters.

Whenever I write, I go into this "rush" type of mindset where I completely zone in and go crazy writing. It's like a trance kind of. It's kind of like how focused you are when you read a book, except you're writing the book.

And I feel that "rush" feeling whether it is a story, a song, poem, whatever.

But I did something recently that I didn't think would have much of an effect on me. But it did. And now I'm having somewhat of a mind over matter problem where I keep writing and overthinking and suddenly it's not as fun as it has been my whole life. The thing is though, I'm still in love with this story, and I want to write it so badly. I have thousands of ideas and put it all in the notes on my phone.

So its extremely frustrating when I keep feeling like what I'm writing isn't as good as it was before, and I'm not able to go into that "rush" feeling as easily. I almost did an chapter update that was sooo short but I'm like, I can't do that to y'all. Whatever I post has to be good quality.

My plan was at first to write all of the chapters, and then post it once a day. I'm guessing I probably should've done that haha.

But yeah, just know I do have a lot written already for the next update. Pray for me, that I'll be back on track, back to normal and this weird writers block thing will be over. I know it will be over soon, though.
