We all walked back into the lounge and saw a very upset Ben and a sheepish looking James. "What's wrong?" I asked Ben walking up to him and putting my hands either side of his face. I looked into his and I saw nothing but hurt and pain. "James, what happened" I said quickly turning my attention to James. Neither of the answered me which just made me angry.

"I swear to fucking god if neither of you tell me what's going on there'll be fucking hell to pay" I practically yelled at the two of them and stepped back folding my arms over my chest.

"It's er... Complicated Jay-" "Dont you dare fucking say it's complicated Ben, just tell me now!" I cut him off, I was beyond angry now. "James I suggest you go over to Danny before she kicks off at you as well" Ben said raising his head to look at me.

James walked over to Danny and Ben grabbed my arm and led me outside. "What?" I asked getting angrier by the second, Ben looked around and folded his arms. I sparked up and he sighed.

"Basically after you and Pete had that fight, I never realised how much you meant to me and how much it would hurt if you had died" I looked at him blankly and I couldn't find anything to say. "He had beaten you up pretty bad and you were out for the most painful 5 days of my life. The twins came and visited everyday and told me that Pete had took off without telling anyone where he was going. Seeing what you've turned into what you are now hurt a lot because you were so innocent. Don't get me wrong I like the fact that you're a badass and we have more in common, but I just miss you being innocent, well you weren't exactly innocent before but you get what I mean" I just stood there and laughed, I can't believe this. Almost two years of him acting like a complete asshole and this was why.

"I can't believe that you never told me this until now" I say putting my fag out and rubbing it into the ground with my shoe. "Have you told any of them about getting arrested yet?" Ben asked trying to change the subject. "Yeah, Danny, Sam and Cam know. They're not saying anything to James because I have no idea how he'll react" I reply looking at the floor.

How the hell was I gonna tell James that I got arrested?! Let alone tell him why.

About six months after Pete left, me and Ben got kicked out of our second school and I started jacking cars. I wasn't actually jacking cars, I was breaking into them, fixing them up and returning them. So I was technically doing the owners a favour. One day I got caught breaking into a '67 Chevy Impala and was arrested and detained for two weeks. So it wasn't exactly a major crime, well I didn't think it was.

Ben and me walked back into the lounge and saw that the others were in a heated argument. "What's going on?" Ben asked curiously. "James is saying Avenged Sevenfold are better than Guns N' Roses!" Danny said practically shouting. I just burst out laughing and they all gave me funny looks.

"What are you laughing at?" Sam asked sounding defensive. "Just that the four of you are so wound up about one guys opinion on music. I personally think that Whitesnake tops them both" I say still laughing at them. "What?!" James practically yelled at me. "Babe don't get me wrong I like Avenged as much as the next person but classic rock will always be my favourite" I say shrugging my shoulders and taking a seat next to Danny. James, Sam and Cam practically erupted with anger because of what I had said, it was only my opinion.

"Okay, okay guys can we you not argue about music now Jays involved. You'll either all lose or she'll hold it against until one of you fucks up or creates a bigger argument" Ben stated and sitting down in the armchair. "Seriously? You're that stubborn?" James asked raising an eyebrow at me. "Yeah, problem?" I reply biting my lip. "Got yourself a stubborn one there James" Danny teased elbowing him in the arm, "shut up" he replied with a slight smile on his face.
