CHAPTER 17: "Cypher"

"I think, we have to push your debut's date as BTS's member til this December."

"Wait, what???" Byul ask, half screaming.

"When I think about it, I do think that we need to consinder ARMY's opinion before making any decision. Before debut, you should prepare yourself in every aspect, singing, dancing, produce music, etc. so that ARMY could accept you in the group." Bang pd-nim answer her calmly. He can see Byul nod in agreement.

"I'm okay with it. Whatever it is, I do think ARMY is our priority." she responses with a smile.

"Thanks for the understanding. So, we will make a reality show of Bangtan and you. You'll stay with them, and follow them in their schedule. It's how to show you to world and you have to know how their works are. And, at the end of the show, which is this December, I want you to produce a song." He starts to explain their strategy to snatch fans' hearts.

"But, it's only 4 months left before December." Byul exclaims.

"Yes, I know. You have limited times. But, this will show to fans how good you are." Bang pd try to convince her.

"Anyway, I heard from the manager that you still have unfinished song in list? Then, how about if you take this chance to finish it, and shows it to world, how good you are." He try to give an idea.

Byul keep in silent, thinking.

"Try to finish it. We will produce it later for BTS's next comeback in one of their tracks. So, if the song get hit, you will gain more fans from ARMY. But, this is the crucial part." He fixes his eyes on Byul's.

"We will publish a poll on our Big Hit's official twitter, whether you would debut as solo, or, the next BTS's member."

"So, you are saying. Everything will be decide by ARMY?" Byul ask, stuttering.

"Yes. Totally my point."

After 2 hours of discussion, Byul officially a trainee of Big Hit's company as soon as she sign the contract. There's nothing much that amuse her in the contract. Just something like, no smoking, drinking or something like that. Well. There's no PROHIBITED OF DATING on the contract. It such a relief as she is now on a relationship, did she? 

"Welcome to Big Hit, Park Byul." Bang pd-nim pull out his hands to give her a shake. In a sec, Byul take the hands and shake it with a smile and thanks.

"The reality show will start tomorrow. For now, you can go meet Mr. Do and the rest. They will introduce you to ARMY through V app."

"Thank you pd-nim." she said and give a bow before leaving the room.

As soon as she step out from the room, she let out a big sigh. She feel relieve and anxious at the same time. Today, she would be introduce to the world. 

"They will like me, right?" She ask herself, unsure.

"Are you ready Byul?" RapMon ask while bring up his phone to set up the V apps that they will use later.

"It's okay noona. Everything would be okay." V try to lessen her noona's nervousness.

"I'm ready." and that's how everything start. Goodbye to freedom.

"That's not bad." J-hope finally breaks the silence. After they did the V app just now, everyone keep their lips tight. No one dare to talk. They expect that ARMY would give a positive reaction, but, most of them are just cursing and bashing her in the comments section. They only do the video for 5 minutes, and the comments flood with hates and curses in thousands language. 

"Are you okay noona?" V ask. Still, no answer from Byul.

Suga frustrated at Byul's reaction. She neither talk or crying. The only thing she did is scrolling her phone's screen, reading the post on Twitter that is now trending with her stories. 

"Hyung. We don't have any schedule today right?" Suga ask his manager while his eyes still on Byul.

"Ah?? Schedule?? I've cleared every--" 

"Okay. That's it." Suga cut him off and walk towards Byul. He takes Byul's phone from her hands and switch it off. Then, he put it into his sweater's pocket. Byul surprises at his actions. 

"Don't use phone for the time being. Come with me." He said and grabs Byul's hand, dragging her out of the practice room.

The others just sitting there looking at each other.

"What should we do??" Jungkook ask his hyungs.

"How about if we put up all noona's videos practice???" Jimin give an idea.

"That's brilliant! Oh! We also can get help from VIXX!" V said.

"How??" Jin ask.

"VIXX-deul is noona's close friends right?? And, after all, noona is the one who produce their audition's song before. They can reveal it to their fans. At least, the fans would know how good noona is." V answer.

"Wow. I got a goosebumps. It's the first time ever you give a good idea V." RapMon said while rubbing his arms in disbelief.

"Well. I'm a genius for reasons." V said while making a weird face.

"And, the genius times up." Everyone laughing at Jungkook's comments.

"Drink this." Suga hand her ice caramel macchiato. After bring Byul to his own workplace, and lock it from outside(he afraid that Byul will run away), he run to the cafe at the lobby's company.

"Thanks. How do you know I love this?" Byul take it while looking at Suga.

"No I not. I just love to drink it. That's why I bought it for you." Suga answer with a sass.

"Well. Thank you anyway." Byul thanks him once more before drink it.

"So, how's your feeling?" He ask, take a seat on the only couch at the studio.

"Bad." Byul answer.

"Even after drink this? I put a lot of love to the drinks." Suga reply her, then drinks the coffee, didn't care the shocks on Byul's face.

"So, anyway, why did you bring me here?" Byul ask after a while, try to rid the awkwardness around them.

"To have you listen to this." Suga answer her and put his coffee on the floor. He leave his seat and walk to the corner of the room, before turn again facing Byul, and start to rap while stepping slowly to Byul who is sitting on a swivel chair.

"I'm so..rry?" Byul stammering on her own words. She can feel her own heartbeats accelerates as now Suga is in front of her, kneeling, while looking straight to her eyes.

"That's the first rap that I make before climbing up to where I am now. Before, I got critics from others, but, guess what? I don't give a shit to what they say. Now, I got what I want. You too. You deserve your place now. Don't give up on your passion in music." Suga calmly told her, locking their eyes.

"And, you know what? You are allow to cry when you feel sad." with that, Suga put his palms on Byul's hair, ruffling it with love.

"Thanks." Byul said as tears start to roll on her cheeks.
