Chapter 30: "Flashback"

Just like the chapter, this is all about flashback, with V's p.o.v~

"What are you doing here all alone?" I heard someone talk to me and look at the voices. She use the same clothes with me, well. She use the pink color while I am using the blue color. Wondering where we are right now? Yeah. We are at now at hospital's rooftop, where I am sitting at the very edge of the roof with my head on my knees.

"I have no one." I answered her.

"What did you mean by that?"she ask me.

"My parents died three days ago in an accident. I am just lucky enough to be alive. Wait? Is it lucky? I wish I could go to heaven with them." I said. Tears start rolling on my cheeks.

"Well. You got me now. I can be your friends and family. My name is Byul. You can call me noona. What's yours?"

"Kim Minseok." I answered with a grin.

Since that day, we had hang out together on the rooftop every morning and will going back to our own room before afternoon. Noona said, there is a hyung who will mad at her if he knew she was gone from her bed.

I also knew that noona had only wake up from her coma days before, on the day when my parents are living me alone in this cruel world.

But, God had give me another person in my life. Park Byul. She give me strength to moving on and be happy. She told me everything that an 8 years old girl could say to a 7 years old boy.

It might be nothing to other person, but, it is a new whole world for me. But, happiness is not always be with us.

After a month staying at the hospital since both noona and I need to get treatment everyday, today is the day when I had my treatment done. I can finally home, which I am not glad at all.

My uncle, Bang Shi Hyuk come to fetch me from the hospital. and, worsen, he say that I have to stay at Seoul since no one would take care of me here in Daegu.

"Uncle, I can live by myself. I am a grown up boy you know." I say pouting.

"Yeah sure. A grown up "boy" you mean?" My uncle said chuckling.

"But, I really mean it!"

"No. You are going with me."

"but, uncle. I--"

"Hear me Minseok-ah. I want the best for you. If you are staying here, you will get distracted or stressed out if you missing your parents. I had promise to my sister that I'll care for you if something ever happen to her and your father. Can you just--let me be a good dongsaeng here? Trying my best to fulfill my own sister wish?" He say, sadly. I start to feel sorry and guilty. This is the first time ever I had see him crying. He didn't even cry when my granddad,which is his father death when I am 5. He said, a man will never cry while comforting me with a lion toy.

"I'm sorry uncle. I just-"

"It's okay. I know how you feel. Let's just go now." He said, cutting my words short.

"Okay. Just, wait for a minute. I have somewhere to go." I say before running out of the room.

I went to noona room, and looking at that peaceful face sleeping sweetly on the bed. I want to say goodbye, but, I don't want to wait her up.

I walk to her small locker at the corner of the room and found a book which written at the very front page "Notes from Hakyeon."

I flip through the pages to find some blnak paper, but, most of the pages are occupied.

"Seriously, how many notes this Hakyeon hyung had to give to her?" He ask, still flipping the pages. Luckily, he found one and tore it off.

Noona,
It's me, Minseok. I had get my treatment done and will leave the hospital. I went to you first to say bye, but,I don't want to disturb you from sleeping. I wish to meet you again in future since I am now loving u. Can u believe that? I'm going to meet you and married u.

With that, I fold the paper into half, and put it carefully below noona's pillow. I want to walk away, but, this is maybe the last time I meet her. I remember my mom said to me before.

If you love someone, you must give them a kiss. That's how they will know your feelings.

I am not a fancy of kissing. I still remember the day when I ran away from my mom when she want to give me a kiss on cheeks. She caught me anyway and Peck me quickly. I rub it off with annoy face.

"If I knew I can't let you kiss me more in future." I sigh.

I walk closer to noona and tiptoed, leaning closer before giving a quick peck on her lips.

"I'm going to meet you again noona. " I say before walking off.
