CHAPTER 21: "Path"

Byul run to the washroom in the waiting gate. She picks up the pieces of egg shells that sticking on her hair and wipe the stains on her clothes while trying to hold her tears.

"It's okay Byul. It will not getting any bad. Trust me." Byul try to keep herself from crying. Her phone suddenly went off. She take her phone and read the text that she got.

I'm sorry because I can't protect you. - Weirdo.

With that, she burst to tears. She can't feel her legs and fall on the toilet's floor with her palms on her face. All the comments that she heard just now keep replaying in her minds.

"Are you okay noona?" V ask in concern as Byul sit on her seat beside him in the plane.

"I'm okay. But, I can't get rid of this stain and my hair still smell like egg." Byul say jokingly while making a disgust face.

"Put this on." V say, handing her his red sweater.

"I'm okay. You use it." she refuses.

"Use it. You don't want to see our fans seeing you in this kind of mess right? Put its hoodie on your head. We should not let them see your pretty hair with this-- eggshells??" he said and picking up a small piece of eggshell on Byul's hair and throw it away.

"Thanks." Byul say.

"It will take a while. How about getting some sleep?" V ask her as the flight take off after some time.

"Nah~ I'm okay. You better take some sleep. I'll working on my song." Byul answer with a smile.

"Okay then. I'm going to sleep. On your shoulder!" V said and lean his head on Byul's shoulder. Byul shocks when she feel V's head on her right shoulder.

"Ya! I need to--"

"Noona~ In the plane, we have to sleep and not working. We should not disturb other person who needs sleep." V said with his eyes close. Byul smile at V's sentences and let out a small sigh. She try to reach for her backpack behind the chair with the minimal movement as she did not want to disturb the sleeping V beside her. 

Byul open the backpack and take the headphones with mp3 out which is belong to Suga just now. She avert her eyes to look at Suga who is sitting beside Jin at the seat beside them. 

"Thanks so much, sunbae-nim." she said, before putting it on her head and playing some song in the mp3.

"It's not bad, right noona?? The fans love you!" V said as soon as they enter the van after land off to Jeju's Island Airport just now. Luckily, the fans didn't make any scene and welcome them.

"Yeah. And, you got yourself a fan! Congrats!" J-hope said and displaying the plank card that he got from a fan just now. "PARK BYUL FIGHTING!!" was written on it. Byul smile as she read it.

"Thanks guys." she said smiling.

"Okay. We have an hour before the concert. Lets make you pretty!" Jin say while pulling Byul and force her to sit onto one of the chair in front of the mirror.

"What? I'm not going to perform later! You guys will!"Byul protest. She try to stand up from the chair but once again, Jin and J-hope pull her and forcing her to sit on the chair.

"Who said you'll not performing? Of course you will."RapMon say smiling while looking at Byul's reflection on the mirror.

"But, I don't even start any practice!" Byul say worried.
