CHAPTER 23: "Sail"

I'm sorry. Once more, I can't protect you. - Weirdo

Byul read it and put the phone to her side. She doesn't feel to reply him or returning the call from Hakyeon. 30 missed calls from Hakyeon and few from other VIXX's members. Like seriously? Don't they have anything good to do?

It's 1 am and she had just awake from her sleep. After the incident that morning, they fly to Seoul as soon as the event finish and the members told her to take a rest at their dorm, which she refuse at first, but end up sleeping till the midnight.

She sit on her bed and switch on the lamp bed on a small table beside. She found a cup with a post-it-note beside the lamp. She reach the cup and bring it closer.

"Iced caramel macchiato special for the day. Drink and smile :)"

Byul smile as she read it. She remember Suga had bought it for her before. "It must be from Yoongi sunbae-nim." she said to herself. Byul take a sip and bring the cup to the living room and make her way to the balcony, looking at the beauty of Seoul in the night.

"What are you doing out here?"

Byul jump in shock, and look at the owner of the voice.

"Sunbae-nim!"she exclaims.

"Sorry. Did I make you shock?" Suga ask an obvious question.

"Well. I guess I am."he continue when Byul didn't reply him, clutching her chest in shocks.

"What are you doing out here? Don't you feel cold?"

"I..running from those cameras." Byul answer, pointing to the cameras at the living room. Since the only place in that house that has no camera is at the balcony and toilets, she choose to stay at the balcony while having her drink.

"Why? Are you okay?"

"I got this. So, I'm okay. Thanks anyway." she said, smiling,

"For?"Suga ask, confuse.

"...anything."Byul reply back after drinking her macchiato.

"Want some?" she ask, shoving the cup to Suga. Suga nods and take a sip, giving it back to her.

"I'm sorry for everything that happen."

"It's not your fault anyway. Don't worry."

"You said so. But, Hakyeon said different."

"What?"

"When you sleeping just now, Hakyeon and the others had come, make a scene how they want you back. Saying that you are not deserved any treatment that you had received before. We barely calm them, like wow? We are the sunbae, and they didn't even care about that."

"Oh my God!! I'm sorry about that sunbae-nim!!"

"Don't worry. We have a good talks, and they leave but warn us anyway. We should protect you, or else, they will take you back. Hahahaha."

"They are just too protective. Before, back in school, once, there's this kid had accidentally push me and I cry afterwards. All of them start to act like a gangster, pushing that poor kid and warn him. I feel sorry for that kid. " Byul told Suga while laughing, remembering how possessive they are. "I miss the old days." she said, take a sip of her coffee.

"Now, you got me. I'll never let you cry again. Never. I promise." Suga said, but, avoiding the gaze from Byul.

"Thanks sunbae-nim."

"Ya! Can you stop that?"Suga half-yelling make Byul shocks.

"What??"

"That sunbae thingy. Can't you, somehow, call me oppa? You call Jin hyung like that. Why can't me?"
