Chapter 26

We get off the plane and claim our luggage at the baggage claim. Afterwards, we hop in a taxi to take us to Toronto were we rent a van so we can put all of our camping supplies in the back and we use the GPS to drive us straight to Bruce Peninsula National Park. Okay I lied we didn't drive straight there. We stopped at McDonald's for a quick bite.

Then we drove straight to Bruce National Park. Once we reach the place, I hop out of the van and open the door for Riley.

"It's really cold out here." She says.

"Oh that's right, I left our jackets in the back. One second, I'll get them." I say. I rush over towards the back of the van and grab our jackets then run back over to her and hand her the jacket.

We walk over towards the camp site. I made sure that when I reserved this section of this park it would be available only for us. So we would be alone for the whole 4 days and 5 nights.

I drop my bag on the ground and look around. There's a view of one of the 3 lakes right in front of us. The campfire logs are already set up. That makes it easier on my part.
I pull out the map of the park and Riley tip toes over to me to get a quick look at the the map.

[RILEY]

"Okay, so this is where we are." Harry says as he points at the map. "We have this entire Park to explore in the next 4 days."

"Can we go kayaking later? I'm kind of in the mood for it." I say.

"Sure but for right now, we need to set up." Harry says. He lowers the map and looks around as he lets out a big puff of air.

"You're helping me with this tent you know." Harry says as he lifts his sunglasses off his eyes and walks towards the van.

"I am?" I ask even though I had no interest in helping him.

"Yes you are." He says as he opens the back of the van.

"You see, I'm the type of person who sits in the background and watches everyone else do the work while I just sit back and sip on tea." I emphasised.

"Hahaha very funny. But seriously you're helping me." Harry says in a serious tone as he grabs the tent.

He walks over to the center part of the camp site and takes out the very large tent and the pieces that go with it.

I walk over and grab the poles and start putting them together. Harry grabs the tent and tries to open it but as he does he completely messes up and let's it float in the air and the corner hits me in the face.

"Ow, Harry watch it!" I shout.

"Oh crap babe I'm sorry." He laughs. I don't even pay attention anymore and I continue to put all the poles together.

"Set the poles up so they go in a dome shape." Harry says.

"Why a dome shape?" I ask.

"Because it's a dome shaped tent meant to fit 9 people but we're only using it for 2 people.

"Why do we need so much space?!" I asked astonishingly.
