Chapter 43 pt 2

My eyes examine her body and legs slowly as she walks me to the shed. There were scratches from the glass scattered along her leg with ripe red blood gushing out slightly. I feel bad. But confused. She opens the shed door and locks it behind her.

Hanging on the back of the door is a first aid kit and wipes. She grabs both and places them beside me on the bench seat. She pulls out a pair of tweezers and looks around my body. My eyes stare at her elbow and side arm because I wonder if she notices that she has glass in her arm.

"Give me those." I say as I attempt to take the tweezers from her but fail.

"Why?" She asks in her angelic voice.

"Because I am going to get the glass out of your arm." I say slowly.

"You're so worried about my arm but have you even realised what's in your arm?" She asks.

I look down at my arms and legs. There are glass pieces sticking out in a full line from my arm to my knee.

"Oh." I reply awkwardly.

She gives me a scowl and lifts up the tweezers again. The room grows silent as her soft hands rub against my hairy skin. My eyes dart at her's but she doesn't notice because she's focused on getting the glass out of my arm.

"This may hurt a little." She says. She lines the tweezers up with one of the glass shards that's poking out of my arm and digs into my open wound until the large chunk of glass escapes my arm.

I wince in pain for a second then let it go. She continues to do that with the other 12 pieces of glass shards on the right side of my body.

She was so gentle with it. It only hurt just that once. She pulled out a baby wipe and wiped all of my blood clean and reached into the first aid kit for a band aid. Slowly, she peeled the paper back and gently placed a single band aid on one of my cuts. Then she did the same thing 12 other times. As she places the last one, her eyes flicker to mine then look back down.

"There." She says quietly. My eyes stare into her beautiful face for a moment. Her cheeks were slightly pink and her skin was tan. She was glowing almost. As much as I wanted to look away I couldn't, she was just so  beautiful.

Because of her beauty, I almost forgot about the main reason why I stopped talking to her in the first place, but it hit me after a second and my dilated eyes turned into a hard scowl.

"Why are you here?" I ask rather abruptly.

She looks up at me with her dazzling eyes, "Because I can be. It's a public beach, you know."

She pulls out the single shard of glass from her arm and rubs a different wipe along her wound and scratches and then finally places a single band aid on her arm.

"What I meant was, what is the purpose of all this?" I say.

"What do you mean?" She asks.

"Oh come on," I begin, "I know this was something you and Louis came up with. Were the rest of the boys behind it too?" I growl.

"I don't know what you're talking abou-"

"Spare me the lies, Riley." I shout as I stand up. She looks up at me as I give her a frustrated look.

"The lies? Harry, you don't even know the truth!" She shouts back. I roll my eyes and burst open the shack door as I try to walk out without continuing the conversation but Riley continues behind me. "You don't even know what really happened behind those doors at the party." She shouts as she slams the shack door.
