I took off, I hurried in the other direction. I took deep breaths as I went to our meeting spot. I kept my head down and tried to avoid eye contact with anyone. I'm so stressed. Harry was sitting on a bench with our clothes, he spotted me as soon as I saw him.

"Let's go," I didn't even stop walking, just continued out the door.

"Hey are you okay? You didn't have to stay in the bathroom as long as you did," he hurried along right on my heels.

"She um, she was in the bathroom with me," I threw him my car keys; I couldn't drive right now.

"Who?" he unlocked the doors.

"Red," I breathed.

I got in the car before he could reply. He threw the clothes in the backseat and sat down in the driver's seat next to me.

"Georgie?" he asked.

I looked at him and rolled my eyes as I looked away.

"I don't know what her fucking name is. I just want to get Simone and go home and sleep," I sighed.

I ripped my ponytail holder off my wrist and pulled my hair into a ponytail.

"No, wait. Georgie was there? Did she talk to you?" he asked.

"You knew she was there, why do you sound so surprised? And yes she did. She asked me about you," I snapped.

Harry's eyes almost rolled out of his head. He leaned back into the seat and covered his face with both hands, letting out deep sighs. Okay Riles, tone it down a little.

"Not directly. But she said she was having boy troubles. She said she had been on and off with this guy for a few years, they lived together, and then he left a few weeks ago. She said she loved you, Harry," I mumbled.

He dropped his hands down on his thighs and started laughing.

"Of course she did. Riley, I told you I never had sex with her. Not the night I left, not any time over those years. Does that mean she didn't try? No. She said there was something about me. There were plenty of other guys involved with those pricks. And they were all volunteers. She was obsessed with the idea of us trying to be like some knock off Bonnie and Clyde," he kept laughing.

What the fuck is even going on right now?

"She-she asked me if it was worth letting you go or trying to get you back," I said quietly.

"And you said?" he looked at me and I got kind of scared.

"I just told her to follow her intuitions. I didn't want her to find out who I was. You didn't... tell anyone about me, did you?" I looked at him, hoping he would be smart enough to keep me out of this.

"No. No of course not. I'm... I'm sorry. I just, I didn't... I shouldn't have left you alone. That wasn't smart," he mumbled.

"No it's okay, she doesn't know me. She doesn't know that I know her. It'll be fine. Harry I..." Toughen up girl, you can do this, "I want to know what she did to you," I said.

He didn't look at me. He looked straight ahead, his jaw clenched like it always did when he got angry. I didn't like when Harry was angry.

"She didn't do much," he shrugged.

"Besides prevent you from coming home," I muttered under my breath.

Harry looked at me and let out a groan.

"Sorry, I just... She met me to give me those medications and she made me take her out for drinks. She had a gun and I had to oblige. It's a long story Riley, she's like a whole different situation. I promise you, nothing ever happened between us though--"
