Hey guys so this is going to end up being a two part chapter because it would end up being EXTREMELY LONG if I didn't break it up

RUBY'S P.O.V

As I lie in my bed about to fall asleep after a restless night. A bird startles me awake by hitting the glass door that leads to the balcony. I slip out from under the covers and swiftly walk over to the doors and pull them open. Kneeling down I carefully scoop up the little bird, as I examine the poor thing to make sure it doesn't have any injuries I notice that the beak is chipped and it's right wing is slightly injured.

Still cradling the small creature I Stand up and walk over to my desk where I just so happen to have a first aid style jumble of stuff in the top drawer, because I'm quite clumsy. I carefully set the bird down on my desk, and take a seat while opening the drawer that contains the strips of cloth and other things to treat common injuries. Pulling out a couple smaller pieces of cloth I begin to wrap the injured wing in the form of a soft cast to insure that it heals in the right way. Once I'm satisfied with my work on the wing I move on to the beak. I take a small piece of clay and start to mold and form the tip of the beak. Finally I am able to get the shape right and I apply it to the remnants of the bird's smashed beak. As an elf I have slight "powers" as you could call them, and I use said powers to set the clay
having it harden and heal the wing.

Just as I finish taking care of my little friend the sun peeks over the ridge of the mountains.

I stand from where I have been sitting for the past hour or so picking up the now lively little bird and walk back out of the balcony doors. I give the bird a quick little pat on the head and set it down on the railing of the balcony. I watch as my new friend takes flight in to the crisp morning air. Even after the bird has flown off I stay out on the balcony and watch as the sun rises. I've always loved to watch the sun rise and fall. Everyday it rises and falls in lovely different ways and colors; reminding me that everyday is a new day and different from the last. Especially today because it just so happens to be my 18th birthday!

I see movement on the ground below me pull out of my trance. Looking down I see that it is one of the stable keepers heading out to do the morning rounds in the stable. I call out hoping to get their attention; unfortunately I am unsuccessful in my attempt and give up. As I am walking back into my room to get ready for the day I decide that I will go for a morning ride with my horse. Walking past the mirror I almost scream at the sight of my hair that is so tangled up it will take me at least a half hour to brush through it! I practically sprint across the room and snatch my hair brush off the dresser.
~~~~~~~
Just as I thought my hair took FOREVER to get to a decent look. Now that my hair is done I change into my ridding gear consisting of: a dress, pants, boots, and because I'm going out of the grounds of the city a chest guard. I get to the door that leads to the hallway, and gasp and I almost forget to put my arm guards on. I strap them on then grab my bow and quiver that contains my arrows, and go out my door. Walking down the stairs to the foyer of the palace I trip on the last step , but luckily my father is there and catches me before I can hit the ground
"manke naa lle off a' ikotane arinya e' i' amrun?" (Where are you off to so early in the morning?) My father Elrond inquiries in our native language of elvish.
"Diola lle atar ten' helpien amin, vithel amin've decided tanya ta be y' nice men a' start i' re ed' goien n'e ten' y' ride."
(thank you father for helping me, also I've decided that it would be a nice way to start the day by going out for a ride.)I reply with a big smile on my face.
"ta's Seasamin sweetie, nan' saesa uma be careful n'e eller! oh, ar' caela lle seen lle seler' a're amin'm am' a' elea he' ikotane hae-?"
(it's my pleasure sweetie, but please do be careful out there! Oh, and have you seen your sister today I'm yet to see her so far?) His face and voice full of concern for me and my sister. I shake my head and bow as a signal of my department, as I straighten out my father engulfs me in a hug and I happily return it. He's reluctantly lets go I bend over a little bit and give him a quick kiss on the cheek, and with that I resume my running out of the front doors. I lightly jog to the stables to get my horse equipped for my ride. Stepping up to my baby girl's stale I notice that it's already cleared out and restocked with fresh hay and water. I open her door and step in the be greeted by a big neigh from her telling me that she's in a good mood.
"How is my Midnight? Yes I'm happy to see you too baby!" I coo to her as I scratch her cheek lightly and pat her on the neck.
She is the most beautiful horse I've ever seen. Her coat is as black as the darkest night and her main and tail share the same color as her coat, but her eyes are as blue as the moon. Hence the name Midnight!
Now that I have the saddle and rains on her I lead her to the door. But before I can leave I am met by the stable keeper. I thank him for cleaning out her stale this morning. I mount Midnight and get her in to a trot, we get to the front gate and once they open it we take off at full speed. We ride like this for awhile until we reach the edge of the forest that surrounds my city. As the sun continues to rise higher in the sky we are gallivanting around the forest and field of our small valley. At about midday there is a group of horse riders gathering at the top of the hills that surround the valley, and some barring the flag of Mirkwood an elven city In The woodland realm.
I signal for Midnight to start moving a little faster towards the group. Once I am a few leagues in front of them I stop and notch an arrow in my bow aiming it at the foreign elves.
'I don't care if they are elves they are on my land now' I thought to myself as I drew back the bowstring ready to fire.
As the group gets closer their head horseman raises his hand to signal the rest of the group to slow down. They finally arrive at the spot where I am, yet at the sight of my bow the leader does not change expressions his face remains calm and almost emotionless.
"ya naa lle ar' mankoi caela lle tul a?!" (who are you and why have you come?!) I question in a stern fierce voice.
" I am prince Legolas of Mirkwood of the woodland realm, and I have come because I was requested to attend a ball and a council meeting tomorrow." His voice like liquid gold, so soft and rich!
" oh I apologize I didn't realize that you where the prince, for if I did I would not have raised an arrow at you!" I apologize as I relax the tension of the bow and unnotch my arrow replacing it to my quiver.
"My I ask your name malady, and why you are out here alone?" He gestured to myself.
" I am princess Ruby of Rivendell, and I was just out for a morning ride to clear my head." I speak in a soft voice of which most women are meant to talk in.
" your highness would you mind leading us to Rivendell, for we do not know the way from here?" He bows to show respect to the fact I'm a princess.
" of course! I would be quite glad to show you!" I chirp as I turn Midnight and myself around to face to correct direction of which the city stands. " FOLLOW ME!!" I yell happily to the group of men
Ok guys here is part 1 of 2 let me know if there are any grammar mistakes or anything else so I can fix them
