Narrator P.O.V
Aragon slowly opens the door to ruby's room, and softly wanders toward the sleeping princess in her bed. Suddenly she starts to toss and turn in her sleep, but that's not all she also begins to talk as if she's in battle.
" ha! That's what you get for trying to kill me you filthy Orc! Not today you idjit! Is that all you've got? I can do better in my sleep!"
Aragon just chuckles under his breath, and gently shakes his head. Continuing on his mission he heads toward the bathroom and starts to heat up the water for a bath. Once the bath is full and warm he walks back to the sleeping princess who is still dreaming of battle. He must wake her up, but he knows all to well that if she's woken during one of her fighting Dreams she will continue to fight whoever woke her up. He decides to have a little bit of fun before the seriousness of the today's plans set in.
He places one hand on the handle to his sword ready to draw it from its sheath at a moments notice. Slowly he reaches out and gently nudges Ruby awake. Just as she wakes up she spring out of bed and grabs her sword beside the nightstand...and launches herself at Aragorn.
Ruby's P.O.V
I am woken up from my dreams of a marvelous battle by my brother Aragorn. He knows I hate being woken up from those dreams, because that's the closest I get to a real battle. Sure I go out and defend Rivendell from a couple orcs every once and awhile, but that is still within our borders. I have never stepped foot outside of the security of our borders. Ada is alway trying to protect me like a precious little jewel.
I grip the handle to my sword that I keep by my nightstand and lunge at Aragon only to be blocked by his own sword. This single strike turns in to a mini battle between the two of us. It ends when he gets the upper hand and cut the ribbon out of my hair which causes it to all cascade and fall over my shoulders and back.
" good morning dear sister!" Aragorn says with a chuckle as he returns his sword to its sheath. I jump off my bed to the cold ground putting away my sword.
"Good morning my brother!" Is all I say as I turned and punch him in the arm. "That was for waking me up from a good dream!"
Out of nowhere come the whines and whinnying of fright form Midnight. I look at Aragorn with fear and worry filling my eyes. I turn throwing open my balcony doors and jump off to the streets below. Not stopping for a second until I get to the stables. Still in my nightgown I rush in the stables to see what is wrong.
As I round the corner coming in to view are the stalls with Midnight and a couple other horses. I notice something odd about the stall next to Midnight. This stall usually holds my other horse in it. She is a pure white Clydesdale, and she's named Dawn and is Midnight's twin.I have not ridden her lately because on our last ride we got in to a fight with some orcs on the edge of the kingdom, and in the process she was shot with a poisoned arrow.
Up to now she was almost fully healed. Now she has just collapsed in her stall. I start yelling for help. "Someone Tua!!! saesa!!!" ( someone help!!! Please!!!)
Within minutes there are at least ten elves in there taking care of Dawn. Midnight is freaking out with all of the people around her sister. So she rears up whinnying as loud as she can . I go in to her stall and calm her down before she hurt herself.
Soon father comes in to see what all the noise is about and to tell me that it is time to get ready for my day.
"Nan' ada amin can't just kela sen! anoron naa ndu ar' midnight naa panickien about he' seler'! ron anta amin ada!! can't lle rangwa tanya." (But father I can't just leave them! Dawn is down and Midnight is panicking about her sister! They need me father! Can't you understand that.)
