Kyla's POV

It's been a few days since I got off of skype with Luke. I had a bad day and he made it all better, but a little after I got off of skype I seen a whole bunch of pictures of him and this girl. The picture I seen most of was of him and the girl kissing. I couldn't believe it. I was so mad at myself for actually thinking I had a chance with Luke. The girl in the picture was way prettier than me. I can see why he likes her.

Luke kept trying to get a hold of me. I keep ignoring it. I don't want to talk to him, at least not right now. Not until I know exactly what I want to say to him. On Monday when I went back to school Rayne wasn't there. She went on vacation to go visit her cousins. The only person I had left to talk to was Jake.

"I guess you were right," I told him showing him the pictures. "I'm so fucking stupid."

"No you're not. He's the one that's fucking stupid. You deserve someone way better. You're amazing," he hugged me and that's when I couldn't hold it in anymore. I just started crying. "How about after school we go get some ice cream or something. That way you'll be able to forget about all of this for a while." I nodded and dried my eyes.

Jake getting me ice cream and everything took my mind off of Luke for a while. I felt way better by the end of the day. I decided to skip my homework and actually call Luke back. The phone only rang once before he picked it up.

"Hey Kyla. Listen, trust me I would love to talk right now. Especially since you didn't answer for days, but right now is not a good time since I'm at a family gathering. Can I please call you back?" he said quickly. Luke sounded sort of bad for not being able to talk.

"Oh. Well. I'm sorry to call at a bad time. I just wanted to say bye." I didn't know whether I wanted to cry or not.

"Bye? Kyla wha-"

"Luke, I'm breaking up with you. I seen pictures of you and that girl. I bet she's there right now."

"Ky-"

"Bye Luke. Please don't contact me again." I hung up before he could say anything else.

Luke's POV

She hung up before I could say anything. I should've known why she wasn't answering. I'm stupid for thinking she wouldn't see the pictures.

I was starting to feel angry at myself. I couldn't do anything or go anywhere since I was at my grandparent's house right now. I decided to sit somewhere where barely anyone was and send Kyla a text that explained. I don't care if she said not to contact her. She needed to know.

"Kyla please listen. I know you said not to contact you but you need to know. You're the only one I want. The girl you seen in the pictures, I just met that night and she was the one who kissed me. It only lasted a second before I pushed her off of me. You got to believe me. I met her that night at a party and she was drunk. I only had one drink and she wouldn't leave me alone so I decided to take a walk by myself but I guess she followed. I told her about you but she wouldn't believe me since you and I never made it public. I got the guys and left after she kissed me. I was going to tell you that night but you were already having a bad day. I didn't want to make it worse. I was going to tell you the next day but you wouldn't answer. I hope you believe me. I hope you forgive me and maybe give me a second chance."

I sent the text praying she would text or call me back.
