Val P.O.V.
"So, what do you need to explain? Other than why you kidnapped my best friend and I." I told him. "I need to tell you why and what's going on, but I need you not to freak, got it?" He asked seriously. "Yah, now explain, because eventually Dom's parents will call the police. " I told him. "Ok, you promise not to freak out though?" He asked. "Yes! Now tell me."
I told him."Miles, Nico and I are werewolves. " He said in a serious tone. "Great, my kidnapper is delusional too. " I said sarcastically. "I'm not lying!" He said angrily. I gave him an accusing look. He pulled off his shirt and went for his pants. "Wait! What are you doing?" I asked him. "Proving the truth. " He said. He pulled off his pants and stood in front of me for a second. "What are you talking about?" I asked. He morphed into a lean, black wolf.
I took a step back in shock. This isn't happening, you just had to much sugar. It's all just a dream. The wolf took a step towards me, and I took a step back. "What's going on?" I asked, terrified. The wolf walked up to me, and rubbed its head on my leg. It was... Purring? I brushed his head with my hand, slowly calming down. It purred and rubbed its head on my legs.
The wolf morphed back into Oliver. I just stared at him. Werewolves. Are. Real. This is amazing! Wait, what do they want with us? Are we bait for other wolves? I have to get out of here, they're dangerous. I took a step back, terrified of him. He grabbed my arm and asked "Do you believe me now?" I nodded, still scared. I pulled my arm out his grip and ran out of the room.
I dashed down the stairs, and went for the hall, but Oliver had his arm around me. Thankfully he put on some more clothes. "What do you want with me?" I asked, struggling to escape his grip. "I want you." He said. Fear bubbled inside me, the unknown spreading. "Why me?" I asked, still struggling. "Stop struggling and I'll tell you." He said. I stopped struggling, still prepared to run though. "You're my mate, that's why. "He whispered into my ear. Mate? How many times is he going to use that term? What does it mean?
"What does that mean?" I asked, still scared. "Let's go back into your room, ok?" He asked, clearly worried about me. Weird. I walked up the stairs, Oliver right behind me. We entered my room and I sat down on my bed. "Explain, now." I told him.
"All right, a mate is like someone's girlfriend, or boyfriend. Only more of a longterm relationship. The moon goddess chooses a mate for every wolf, someone who completes them. The Alphas of a pack, are more drawn to their mates, who become the pack's Luna. A Luna is basically the female leader of the pack. She helps the Alpha lead the pack, when she isn't carrying their pups." He told me.
"Pups? Like, babies?" I asked quietly, unsure. "Yes, babies." He answered into my ear. He rested his hands on my hips and I wrapped my legs around his waist. He picked me up, careful not to hurt my stitches. I rested my face in the crook of his neck. He laid us down on the bed, and we slept through the night.
Oliver P.O.V.
I woke up to someone screaming in pain. I looked around to that it was my mate, she had her eyes closed and she was curled into a ball with her hand on her scratches. "Hey, you have to wake up Val." I whispered. "Wake up." I said slightly louder. She opened her eyes slowly, still in pain. I gently pulled her legs down from her chest, and laid her down flat. I lifted her shirt just enough to see all the scratches. They were a deeper shade of violet around them. No! Not yet!I got up and grabbed the wolfsbane. I started to apply it lightly, but she screamed in pain when it touched her skin. No! It's too late! I picked her up and walked outside of her room, down the stairs, through the hall into the secret door to outside. I carried her into the forest, not caring how dark it was. "Where. Are. We. Going?" She asked with laboured breaths.
"Farther." I told while I ran deeper into the forest. I finally got to a nice and quiet spot. I laid her down on the ground, resting her head on a root. I pulled off her shirt, hung it on a branch and went to take off her shorts. She grabbed my hand. "What are you doing?" She asked, still in pain. "You'll see." I told her. I pulled off her shorts and hung them on the branch.
I sat down beside her and laid her across me. She shook in pain. She curled into a ball and I wrapped my arms around her, careful not to hurt her more.
Then suddenly she started to whimper. I pulled back, allowing her to have space. She slowly started to morph from human, to wolf. She was a beautiful sleek and lean black wolf with a white line running down her head, back and tail. She whimpered, unsure of what's going on. I took off my shirt and pants. I morphed into my wolf and stood beside her.
I rubbed my head on her's, worried about her reaction. She was still shaking, but she took a careful step forwards. She brushed herself against me, almost telling me to join her. She started to run through the forest. I was right behind her, I could tell she enjoyed it. She slowly came to a stop, back at where we were before. I morphed back to human. She stood there for a second before laying down whimpering. Ha, she didn't know how to change back.
I was about to tell her to imagine her human form when she morphed back to human. She was laying on the ground, curled up. I grabbed her hand and slowly pulled her up. I let go and started to turn to get our stuff when she grabbed my hand. She pressed it onto her side. I felt bumps running down it. I looked over to see her scratches were only scars. She was smiling at me, happier then ever.
I smiled back, and put my other hand on her side. She jumped onto her toes and kissed me. It wasn't needy, or sloppy. It was passionate and loving. I pulled back and rested my head in the crook of her neck. "We should go back." I told her. She nodded. I walked over to our clothes and passed her clothes. I put on mine and waited for her to be ready.
I noticed a tattoo like mark on her back. "What's that?" I asked. "Hmmm?" She mumbled, turning slightly. "The tattoo." I told her. "Oh that it's not a tattoo, it's a birthmark. I walked closer to see. "Why?" She asked. I stared at the mark, trying to figure out where I had seen it before. "I feel like I've seen it before, that's all." I told her, shrugging it off.
We ran through the forest back to the mansion, this time it didn't look so intimidating. We walked up to her room, sneaking by Nico's room. Might as well be Dom's. We walked into her room, Val laying on her bed spreading out like a cat. I laughed slightly.
She glared at me for a second, then made room for me. Only enough for me to barely lay down. She curled up against me, and we slept peacefully for the rest of the night.
Well, that chapter wasn't as funny as the others. But do expect more humour in the next chapters:)
Also this cool quote I found.
"Be happy, it drives people crazy."
