So, how did you like the last chapter? Also, THANK YOU ALEXSHO!!! You're awesome! For all the other readers that are super awesome too, I really wish I knew your usernames so I could put them in:( Please do comment. I was curious to know if we could get 4 votes for this chapter. I know, probably shouldn't ask for anything, I mean you've put up with the book this far. I would just really appreciate it if we could reach that. To Infinity and Beyond!! That's not the quote, this is "I'm not weird... You just can't process me with a normal brain."

"What?" I asked. He took a deep breath. "Mates. " He repeated. "Is there there more that I don't know?" I asked confusedly. "Yes. " He said, almost guiltily.

"What is there for me to know?" I asked curiously. He sighed then said uncomfortably "Marking, mating. That stuff." He scratched the back of his head awkwardly. Wow, he really didn't want to talk about this. "We can talk later." I told him. He nodded and snuggled against me.

Quickly I heard his breaths turn to snores. I thought about what he could mean by marking and mating. The rhythm of his snores lulled me to sleep.

I opened my eyes to see a room I didn't recognize. I looked around and remembered where I was. I noticed that Oliver wasn't laying with me. I got up and looked around curiously. The room looked nice, unlike the guest room I was in before. It seemed, used. In a good way, like it had spirit.

A door behind me opened, and Oliver stood there, dripping wet in all of his sexy glory. He had a towel wrapped around his waist. He looked over at me and smirked. I glared at him and waited. He walked over to the dresser and grabbed a shirt and jeans then turned to face me. "You want to see this again?" He asked cockily. "Jerk." I muttered.

He walked back into the washroom to get changed. I went over to the suitcase and grabbed some black leggings, a grey tank that said "Life isn't about finding yourself, it's about creating yourself." I stole a leather jacket from the closet and put on my clothes.

Oliver walked out, looking handsome as always. I realized that this probably wasn't the best thing to wear, I look like a goth. (This is not meant to be offensive in anyway. )

He smiled at me and walked over. "Come on. " He said while resting his hand on my hip. His smile was huge and we walked out the door. We walked through a long hall and went down some stairs.

We walked into a beautiful living room. There were paintings and couches. Four people sat on the couch, talking animatedly. There were two older people, they looked about forty. There was a girl who looked about Oliver and my age, and a little boy he was maybe seven.

I immediately hated the girl. She was one of those fake whores. The older man looked over at us and smiled. "Oliver!" He said while walking over, completely ignoring me.

"Marissa was just saying you hadn't contacted her for a while, we were getting worried. " He said, still not addressing me. "Father, why is she here?" He asked, trying to hide his anger. Apparently he didn't like her either.

"Well, we know you rejected her the first time but we thought that bec-" "No. I rejected her for a reason. " He said angrily. His hand tightened on my side.

"Why dearie? You know I love you. " Marissa said while walking towards him. "No, all you want is power. No get out!" He said angrily. She looked extremely hurt, then finally realized I existed.

"Is it because of her?" She asked disgustedly. "I know for a fact that I'm ten times better than that slut." She said angrily. Anger pooled into me, almost like a river. I had to force myself to stay still. Normally these girls don't bother me this much. "It's the mate bond." Verity told me. "What?" I asked. "It's getting stronger, you're feeling Oliver's emotions." She told me calmly, like she wasn't affected.

I looked over at Oliver and I knew I hadn't even felt a third of his anger. I decided now was a good time to defends myself. "Hey, dearie. Remember when I asked for your opinion.  Yah, I don't either. " I told her sassily.

Her face turned red with anger, and I used that to my advantage. "You know, red really isn't your colour, you want to go to the washroom and change that?" I asked smirking. She glared at me then pushed by us, probably going to the washroom.

Ha! One point for team Epic! Zilch for team Whore! Oliver's hand relaxed and I looked over to see him smiling proudly. I grinned then looked over at the others. The little kid was watching, he looked happy. Maybe Oliver and I weren't the only ones happy to see her go.

"Oliver, get your friend under control! Marissa will make a great Luna and combining with her pack will help us in our fight against the rogues! You are marrying her since you haven't found your mate and that is final!" His father said angrily.

Again, Oliver's hand clenched. He growled at him then said in a deep voice, one I almost didn't recognize. "No. " He looked extremely surprised that Oliver stood up to him. "I will not marry Marissa. She's an attention whore and only wants me for my looks and status. I can't believe you. " He said in that same voice.

His father looked angrily at him, then turned to me. "You. Get out of my house now. You've filled his head with lies. I don't care who you are. " He said, almost yelling.

"DON'T TALK TO HER LIKE THAT!!" Oliver growled loudly from beside me. He took a step forwards but I blocked him with my arm. "Don't. " I whispered to him. I looked over at Oliver's father and thought about what to say. I decided I didn't need his approval in anything, and went with my best thought.

"Normally I don't go to depth in making people feel bad about themselves, but I think I can make an exception today. You're trying to force your son to marry a useless whore who wouldn't do anything for your pack. I've only been here maybe, what? An hour or two? Seriously. I already know that you care more about your pack than your own family! You could have at least tried to listen to his side! And no, I didn't even know she existed today so I haven't been filling his head with lies. And I would love to leave this house right now, but I'm not willing to leave Oliver with a person like you. " I ranted on angrily.

He looked shocked that I stood up to him. "This is my house! No one can talk to me like that, anywhere!!" He said angrily, his eyes turning black with rage.

I stuck out my tongue and crossed my arms defiantly. Claws grew from his fingers and before I could blink he was a wolf. He growled at prepared to lunge at me. Oliver changed to his wolf beside me and ran in front of me.

They crouched down, ready to pounce at any moment. Oliver growled loudly at his father. He jumped at him and they clawed at each other angrily.

They were arguing in some language while they were fighting. Oliver smacked his father to the ground angrily. He stalked above him, about to tear open his throat.

I ran over and put my hand on Oliver's chest. "Please. Stop." I begged him. He shifted back to human and stood up. His face was expressionless. He put his hand on the small of my back, pushing up my tank a bit.
