chaptet 10: duets

Luke's POV:

"Yeah. This tour is gonna be really awesome and fun. The fans are expecting a lot and we are extremely excited to be sharing our music with them yet again."  Ashton answered.

I was so bored. It was 11am on a Monday and we were at an interview. I could've been sleeping still.

We are currently in Australia for about another week or so before our Sounds Live Feels Live tour starts, so all were doing is going to interviews and writing. We haven't told the media about Evelyn yet since we haven't worked out any details.

I'm so excited to meet her. She's hot, she's an amazing singer, and she looks like a lot of fun to hang with.

"Well I'm sure your fans are excited as well. So, we have some questions from twitter from fans to ask you guys if thats ok." 

We all casually nodded at the interviewer. She was really nice. She had blonde hair, brown eyes and freckles. She kind of reminded me of Evelyn.

"Ok first question. What would you do if a giant pig was chasing you? That's from @neptones."  She laughed.

"Uh, go cuddle it I think?"  I said casually.

"I would be extremely terrified."  Ashton had a look of fear on his face.

"Why is it chasing you?"  Calum asked holding back his laughter.

"I'm not sure."  She said quietly.

"Well, how cute is a pig."  I stated.

"But if its chasing you, isn't it coming to attack?"  Michael looked at me when asking this.

"Oh. So its not coming to cuddle?"
Now I was really confused.

"No. I don't think so." 

This was by far the weirdest question we've ever been asked.

About an hour later, the interview ended. Luckily, there were no questions or comments about Evelyn. We weren't really ready to answer any about her anyway. We didn't even know her.

We all ended up going to Michaels house. We had no other things to do today so it was a free afternoon.

"Hey guys, aren't we seeing that Evelyn girl this week? Thursday right?"  Calum asked looking at his phone.

"Yeah. But were flying to Canada on Tuesday."  Ashton answered.

The room went quiet for a while. The only noise was typing and Michaels video game.

I suddenly got a notification on my phone. It was from YouTube.

Evelyn posted a new video. But, she was with some guy.

"Mates, come check this out."  I half yelled, getting the attention of all the boys.

They came over without a word and looked at my phone as I started playing the video.

"Hi guys its Evelyn again...as always. Today I have a very special guest! My new duet partner. So, get used to him. Were in this together! Say hi."  She knudged the thin blonde boy with a guitar.

"Hey guys. Uh, I'm Jack and like Evelyn said, I'm her duet partner. So, yeah. We'll be singing together from now on."  His voice was medium pitched. Not too low, not too high.

All of us watched curiously. Would he be coming on tour also? Evelyn mentioned a girl, but a guy too?

"Ok, so today we are going to be singing I Know What You Did Last Summer by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello. I hope you like it."  Evelyn smiled one last time before Jack started strumming the guitar.
