Queen From Hell

I was brought up as a southern belle
I grew into the queen from hell
You were just a little stowaway
That stabbed her way to save herself
You always liked the taste of blood
And I get off when I point the gun
It's so good to have someone to be so bad with

My E/C eyes widened in surprise.  I was about to protest, but quickly stopped when I saw my boss glaring at me.  I quickly swallowed my objection.  Instead I masked it with a "subtle" curiosity.

"Do we have any information on the targets?"

My boss scoffed, "Y/N, when have I ever not had the information for a target?"

Cocky bastard. I spoke through clenched teeth, "Never sir." A sly grin cascaded up his face.  It was becoming quite obvious to him that I was losing my patience.

"That's right, Y/N. Never.  Now why don't you and Jones get ready for the job."  His tone gave away that he was done with us.  We didn't even get s much as a second glance. I scoffed and turned on my heel to leave.

I was about to enter my car when I heard someone call my name.  I turned around only to come face to face with Bow Tie.  I looked him up and down before proceeding to get into my car.  I suddenly felt him grab my wrist; forcing me to look at him once again.  I was staring into his striking blue eyes when he spoke, "I'm so glad I caught up to you."

My heart started to race. Who knew that his eyes were so beautiful. No, stop it Y/N.  Men are vile creatures.  Remember F/N? Remember what they did?  I took a shaky breath, trying to calm my inexpiable nerves.  I cocked an eyebrow, "Why?"

He let out an obnoxious laugh that paired well with his cocky smile. "Cause' you forgot the files."  I looked down at the folders that no doubt had irreplaceable information.

I took the files from him. "Oh, well then.  Thank you.  Now if you don't mind, I'll be taking my leave."

His eyes lit up in surprise, "W-Wait! Don't you want to discuss the job?"

I scoffed, "Look, I'm gonna be frank with you.  I don't like working with lazy, ignorant men.  And I most definitely do not want to work with you, so I think that it'd be best if you just let me to do the job."

He cocked his head like a confused puppy, "Okay dude, I have three problems with what you just said. First, I'm pretty sure that you're name isn't Frank."

My eyes widened. Are you kidding me?  I have to work with this stupid excuse of a person?

"Second, I am not just some 'ignorant man.' I'm the hero!"  He let out a small chuckle while I rolled my eyes. "Third, I was assigned to work with you, and I will be your partner for this assignment.  Besides, I'm pretty sure that your boss would kill you if you refused to cooperate."

Okay, so he did have a point. "Fine, but as soon as the targets are eliminated, you can drop dead for all I care."

His cerulean eyes lit up with excitement.  He looked like an excited puppy.  "Great! I'll meet you in front of Nana's at ten tomorrow!"  And with that, he ran off into the night.

Le Time Skip to your apartment

I opened the door to my apartment and immediately kicked my heels off.  I then proceeded to gingerly peel off my blood stained dress and change into something less constricting.

I flopped onto my couch and skimmed the files.
