Ashton POV

I was led down the hallway of the hospital floor to my sister's room. I felt bad for Luke having to stay there in the waiting room alone. I mean, he is the one that brought her to the hospital because he was worried.

I walked into Anna's room and saw her silently sleeping in the bed. I pulled up a chair and sat next to her.

I was watching her sleep peacefully. No shaking, sweating, and fast heart rate. She was just a girl normally sleeping peacefully. I wonder what made her have another one, she just hasn't had one in such a long time until now. I was worried, I'm always gonna be worried about her..

Even though we aren't related by blood, she is my baby sister. She'll always be my baby sister. I took her hand in mine and held it.

It's been a few hours since I first came in. I then remembered about Luke. He probably left but I was going to check anyways.

I walked out of the hospital room and went to the waiting room. I saw Luke passed out in the chairs, his legs spread out and a magazine on his face. I took a picture of him and laughed..

I walked over to him and shook him.

" What?" He mumbled groggily

" It's like 1:00AM Luke." I whispered to him

" Is she awake?" He opened his eyes like he was wide awake now

" Not yet, but she'll be waking up soon." I told him

" But I can't visit her, they won't let me." He said, sitting up right

" I'll talk to them." I said, leaving and walking over to the counter

I saw a woman that didn't even look old enough for a job here. She had long jet black hair that ended in the middle of her back. It was straight with curls at the end. She was wearing scrubs with kittens on them. She had a nose stud and piercing blue eyes.

I walked up to her and propped myself on one elbow at the counter.

" Can I help you?" She asked

" Uh, yeah. My friend Luke wanted to know if he could visit my sister Annabella Irwin?" I asked

" He's not related?" She asked

" No, just a friend." I said truthfully

" Only family members but I guess I could make an acception." She winked at me and smirked

" Okay, thanks. I didn't catch your name by the way." I said to her

" It's Karina." She said

" I'm Ashton." I said, shaking her hand

" Wait, aren't you from that band? 5 Seconds of Summer?" She asked, raising an eyebrow

" Actually, yes I am." I smiled

" That's cool. My sister really loves you." She chuckled

" Hurry Up Irwin." Luke said

" You can visit her Luke, she said yes." I told him

He got up instantly and went to Anna's room

" Well, my shift ends in like 5 minutes. It was nice talking to you Ashton." She smiled

" Wait, can I, will I see you again?" I asked sheepishly

" Is this a romance fanfic?" She giggled

" What do you mean?" I asked, genuinely confused

" You say those kind of things in fanfics." She chuckled

" well, this ain't a fanfic." I smile at her and rip a piece of paper off a flyer

I write my number on it and give it to her. " Call me sometime."

" Okay Irwin." She smiled and walked to the backroom

Luke POV

I walked into her room and sat on the already pulled up chair. I looked at her and just watched her. She started shuffling around and moving her head side to side.

My hand was clenched to hers as she opened her eyes.

" You're here." She smiled, sitting up

" I would never leave." I smiled

" What happened? Did I have another one.." She asked, clearing her throat

" I think so.. You freaked me out, I was so worried. I'm glad you're okay." I smiled sympathetically

" You didn't need to bring me to the hospital and I'm sorry I scared you." She sighed

" No, don't apologize." I smiled and intertwined our fingers " I'm just glad you're okay."

" I'm glad I'm okay too." She giggled

" I love you." I smiled

" I love you too Hemmings." She smiled at me
