Maya's POV
Why does everything have to happen to me. Just when something good starts.....BAM! And now I'm sitting on this bench (Why there are benches on the roof of this apartment building, I don't know). I don't understand why Farkle did what he did, but we need to have a talk. So I left with out a word.
I heard yelling in the lobby
"I don't regret saying anything!"
That sounded like Farkle
"How could you do that to Riley?"
It sounds like another guy's voice
"What about Maya. Eventually she would have found out. What then?" Farkle exclaimed
"Yeah but you didn't have to announce it to the whole world."
"Come on Charlie, think about it. Maya has alot of people that care about her, but she doesn't get close to them." Farkle said
Why is Farkle arguing with Charlie Gardner?
"Her and Lucas don't even talk they just sit there, it's obvious that it is awkward." Charlie said
"It's not awkward at all. Maya just doesn't say anything because she doesn't what to get close to him, she doesn't want another person that's just going to leave." Farkle said as I slowly turned the corner
"That seems like a her problem. If she doesn't want to get close, let her be lonely it doesn't matter." Charlie said
"Excuse me?" Farkle said angrily
"She doesn't matter, who cares!" Charlie said
Then the next this surprised me, Farkle had him pinned to the wall.
"Don't you ever talk about Maya like that. Her life has not been easy. Many other people have the same problems, but she has worked through it. Now she hopes for things and if she found out months later from Riley, she would never hope again. And I know this because I know Maya like the back of my hand." Farkle said slightly growling
"Is little Farkle going to hit me?" Charlie mocked as Farkle let go
"That's what I thought." He smirked just in time for Farkle to break his nose. "Ahhhh!" He screamed out in pain as Maya came into sight of the two boys.
"Maya how much did you hear." Farkle said turning his attention to her
"You don't regret anything." She said
"God I'm stupid." He siad sliding sown the wall
"His he okay?" I said motioning to Charlie
"Yeah he'll be fine. Here I'll walk you home." Farkle said
"Alright."
I've never seen farkle like that. Hopefully this doesn't happen again.
