TOKEN'S POV
So...I'm suppose to be getting all friendly with my ex-friend, Clyde.
This is not going to be fun.
Clyde, Craig, and I -- we used to be the trio ever since pre-k but then Clyde turned into an ass.
Honestly, he's always been like this but not this extreme.
I spot him at his locker and I walk up to him and tap him on the shoulder, "Sup, man."
He slowly turns to me and raises an eyebrow and looks back, "You talking to me?"
"Well, duh," I say.
This is gonna be hard.
"What do you want?!" He snaps.
"Just seeing how you're doing...is that a crime?"
He shuts his locker and faces me, "Well, you're on Craig's side so I thought you hated me."
I fake gasp, "I would never."
He cocks an eyebrow, "Mhm."
He turns around and starts walking the other direction.
"Damnit," I say under my breath and speed walk to catch up to him, "You were right!"
He slowly turns around, "Huh?"
I breathe, "You were right, Craig just wants everything to be about him and...and his stupid boyfriend, Twitches."
I feel so fake right now, Ken's jealous.
"I'm always right," Clyde worships himself, "But why are you suddenly realizing this?"
"Because -- I don't know -- I just was so dumb I didn't realize," I say.
It feels like I just got slapped thirty freaking times.
He slowly smiles, "This is fantastic. My best friend is back on my side."
"Haha yeah..." I scratch behind my head.
"Let's hang out Saturday -- just you and me," He fake punches me.
"Yeah! Just us two...friends...pals..mates--"
"Okay I get it, Token," He puts his hand up and the bell rings, "See ya."
"Yeah," I just wave and then breathe out.
That was the hardest shirt I've ever done.
CRAIG'S POV
***later on***
I'm suppose to be going to Tweek's Coffee after school today but I just don't know.
Tweek hates me.
I'm surprised I'm not fired.
"Craig you're fired," Mrs. Tweak tells me just as I walk into the shop.
I spoke too soon.
"Huh?" I said.
"You're fired. We realized we don't like this town and...we're moving," She says.
Oh my god.
"WHAT? BUT THIS IS A GREAT TOWN--"
"I know right," Mr. Tweak says walking past us.
"Please, Mrs. Tweak! This town it'll grow on you I promise--"
"I don't want my son to be around rude children and ignorant adults," She says.
I feel defeated.
"Well...when are you moving?" I ask my voice shaky.
"Next week," She says confidently.
"NEXT WEEK?!"
"Yes, we're moving our stuff to our new place -- Canada."
Are you fucking serious.
"Canada?!" I say.
Canada's probably the worst place to live.
"Yes," She says taking off her apron and putting it into a box, "Now if you don't mind, please leave. We'll mail your last pay check--"
"Can I at least speak to Tweek?" I ask.
"Why? You'll see him tomorrow," She says very rude-like.
"Barely," I say under my breath.
"What?"
"Nothing," I say turning around and walking out.
"Have a nice day," She says smiling and I just glare at her.
Unbelievable.
