Chapter twelve: Taking care of her
Lee Dong Hae's POV
"After I leave, change her into clean clothes. Change the cloth on her forehead every time it's not cold anymore okay? and if you can, wipe her body with a cool, wet cloth. That will help alot. The drip is expected to end in another hour. Remove it when it's done. You guys should know by now how to do that right?" We nodded, listening to Dr Son's instructions.
Packing up his stuff, Dr Son started nagging at us like he usually do.
"It's not that I like to nag. but you guys should take good care of yourselves and stop getting sick already! I'm coming here almost every 2 months!! This is not a....."
"ANNYEONG GASEYO!" All of us shouted in unison to Dr Son before he finished his sentence.
"Aishhhh, you kids." Dr Son nagged again as he left the house.
"What do we do now? We have to change Jung Na's clothes." Henry said.
"Ahhhh, but she's a girl. No matter what, it's still not right for us to do that." Zhou Mi said.
"Ah! Her best friend! I know her best friend. We can ask her to help." Siwon suddenly said.
Pfft. How does he even know about Jung Na's best friend? Are they that close?
"Okay, you give her a call. The rest of us will leave for our night schedule now. You don't have a schedule until late at night and Hae is free tonight right? Take good care of her." Leeteuk hyung said to Siwon and I.
Siwon made the phone call using Jung Na's phone.
"Hae ah, I'll go pick her up. You stay home with Jung Na for a moment okay?"
I simply nodded at Siwon.
I stared at Jung Na after Siwon left and my heart couldn't help but ached.
Did I really misunderstand her?
Suddenly, Jung Na frowned and started shaking her head.
"No, it's not me. I am not a thief. Lee Dong Hae I am not a thief. Please....believe me." She sleep talked as tears rolled down her cheeks.
"Ne ne, I believe you. It's okay, its just a nightmare. I know you're not a thief. " I whispered to her ears as I patted her on her shoulders.
Choi Siwon's POV
I left to pick Eun Joo up but I couldn't help worrying about Jung Na at home. I wanted to be by her side. I sped to Eun Joo's house and sped back home. Even when we reached, I couldn't help but run instead of walking.
I pushed the door open and saw Dong Hae changing the cloth on Jung Na's forehead. He didn't even realise that I was standing there. Dong Hae looked at Jung Na with such tender eyes and I couldn't help but feel jealous. Suddenly, Eun Joo startled Dong Hae by running in while shouting Jung Na's name.
"I will return to my room first." Dong Hae immediately ran back into his room.
Jung Na woke up with the shouting of Eun Joo.
"Oh, Eun Joo ah. Why are you here?"
"Choi Siwon ssi called me for help. Come, get up. I need to change you." Eun Joo said.
I left the room and was called back in when the girls were done.
"Siwon oppa, gomawo." Jung Na smiled at me.
Soon, Jung Na fell asleep again.
"Eun Joo ah, I'm leaving for my schedule now. Do you want a ride home?"
"It's okay Choi Siwon ssi. I want to stay a little longer."
"Yah, move. I don't want a stranger in the house." Suddenly, a voice surrounded the room. We turned to see Dong hae at the door.
"Ah Annyeonghaseyo Lee Dong Hae ssi."
"Annyeong. Now, move."
"Bwo?" Eun Joo said, probably confused as to why this guy before her is so different as compared to when he's on tv.
"Yah, Lee Dong Hae. Why are you like this? She is here to take care of Jung Na." I reprimanded him.
"So? I just don't want a stranger in the house. Move."
"Eun Joo, let's go. I will send you home."
Eun Joo followed me and left with me.
Lee Dong Hae's POV
I didn't want to be mean to her. But if she doesn't leave, I can't take care of Jung Na.
I want to be by her side.
