Chapter twenty eight : Skiing

Lee Jung Na's POV

I felt relieved knowing that Lee Dong Hae did not mean what he said about liking me.

However, there was this empty feeling in my heart that I couldn't place any word on. It's as if someone just ransacked my drawer and left it empty, as if someone just took away something important away from me. I was feeling something that was similar to when I realised my parents left me.

"Jung Na, are you okay?" A voice interrupted my thoughts.

I looked up to face the man I should be thinking about instead. The man that has been nothing but an angel to me, nothing lesser than a blessing.

"Ne, Siwon oppa?" I asked.

"You look distraught. Are you okay?"

"Yes I am." I said and forced a smile.

I really like Siwon oppa. It has been a week since we were officially an item.

and also a week since you found out that lee dong hae's confession wasn't real. My inner conscience informed me.

I've been struggling for this past one week and I don't even know what is happening to me.

"Are you ready to go?" Siwon oppa interrupted my fight with my inner conscience and asked.

I nodded my head as I walked to the door with the guys.

We have agreed to go skiing today since it was a special day as everyone was free of schedule.

"Let's go!" Eunhyuk oppa shouted excitedly as he skipped out of the house while the others cheered and followed suit.

I shall forget all my troubles and have as much fun as I can today.

We rode the big van today and even though it can only fit 10 people, we squeezed into the seats so everyone could go in one car.

To my right was Siwon oppa and to my left..yes, it was Lee Dong Hae.

Lee Dong Hae's POV

I stared at Jung Na as she dozed off beside me in the car.

How can she doze off when everyone is so noisy?

I hesitated to put her head on my shoulders because of Siwon but then the conversation I had with Sung Min last night replayed in my mind.

"Hae, I need to talk to you."

"Ne, hyung?"

"You. You like Jung Na right?"

"Hyung, wh..what are you...talking about?"

"I knew it ever since I saw how protective you were when the high school student approached Jung Na on her first day of work."

"Does it make any difference? She is Siwon's girlfriend now."

"Hae, you have to fight for her if you really like her. It's still not too late. Tell her you like her and let her make her own decision between you and Siwon."

I couldn't come to a decision on what to do, but I guess I have now.

I reached my hand over to the other side of Jung Na's head and slowly guided her head onto my shoulder.

When I did that, I could feel Siwon burning holes on my head with his eyes but I tried to avoid all eye contact with him.

I am sorry Siwon. But from now on, I will fight for this girl. This girl that I like so much.
