Chapter 37 : Not ready

Chapter thirty seven : not ready

Lee Jung Na's POV

"Lee Dong Hae..." I whispered as we broke the contact between our lips.

He just asked me out to a short vacation ; just the two of us.

"Ne?" He replied so gently, I thought was going to melt.

"I can't go on the vacation with you." I whispered slowly and Lee Dong Hae looked at me in shock.

"Listen to me first," I said before Lee Dong Hae opened his mouth. "I just broke up with Siwon oppa. I...I'm just not ready yet." I said and look down to the ground.

"It's okay." Lee Dong Hae said and I looked up, feeling shocked that he didn't even throw a tantrum. "I'll wait. I'll wait for the day until you're ready, Jung Na ah."

What he said warmed my heart in this freezing weather, and I knew that I'll be ready for him someday.

We walked back to the dorm together and the moment the door opened, all eyes turned to look at us.

"Siwon oppa....where is he?" I whispered softly, trying to control my tears.

"He's in his room." Eunhyuk oppa said. "But I think you better leave him alone for now. He's broken enough already."

Tears warmed my cheeks once again as I heard what Eunhyuk oppa said.

"Mi..mianhae." I stuttered and ran into my room.

I cried and cried, as I grasped on to the necklace that Siwon oppa bought for me.

It was my fault. I was never brave enough to tell him who I truly loved. But I always thought that I will come to love him one day. I refused to let him go, and my selfishness only brought more harm.

I cried myself to sleep that night, and my heart ached more than ever before.

One week later...

I stared at Siwon oppa's room door as I waited for him to come out of his room while I had my breakfast.

It has been a week since the break up and I haven't even seen him once.

He always manages to leave the house whenever I'm not at home.

Suddenly, while I was busy smashing my sunny side up egg on my plate, I heard the gentle voice that I've been waiting to hear for the past week.

"Jung Na ah, let's talk."

I looked up and saw Siwon oppa standing there, looking more haggard than I've ever seen.

He never looked like this even when he didn't sleep for 24 hours.

Tears threatened to escape again but I held it in.

"Ne." I said as I followed him out of the house.

We walked silently to the park where we broke up and I followed suit as Siwon oppa took a seat on one of the bench.

"It's a nice weather, isn't it?" Siwon oppa said and smiled at me.

"Yes it is." I said as I kicked the stone nearest to my feet into the pond.

"How have you been?"

"Fine...but I've been worried about you." I said guiltily.

"Jung Na ah, look at me." I looked up and Siwon oppa smiled at me again. "It's been a week and to be honest, the whole week was a living hell for me."

I gulped and clenched my fists as I braved myself for the extra amount of guilt that I was going to feel.

"I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep and I was constantly distracted at work. But look at me now Lee Jung Na. I am fine. It has been a week and today morning, I finally decided that today shall be the last day I wallow myself in pity. I'm officially letting you go and you should let yourself go too, Jung Na. I know how much you're suffering too and it's time, to move on too." Siwon oppa said and held onto my hands tightly.

"Oppa.." I cried softly.

"Cry again and don't ever call me oppa again." He said in fake anger.

I laughed and I knew, that this sadness, was finally over.

I'm looking at a bolt of sunshine once again.

Ladies and Gentleman, Choi Siwon is back.

Guys, the sadness is finally over! Our Siwon has moved on, and so will Jung Na.

But, what will happen from now on?

Ps I am so sorry I'm so late guys. I have been so busy that wattpad was seriously so out of league for me.
