For the majority of February Ray Ray, Roc Royal and Prodigy –which Ray named the new kid after seeing the word written on a wall somewhere would go out and dance in the streets for cash. Ray Ray would sometimes pick pocket while the two others distracted people. And towards the end of the month Ray started working with a new gang.
Things in the neighborhood were getting heated with so many thugs moving into the once abandoned houses. And with the incident of Ray Ray murdering six members of one gang yet working with others, an all out gang war was going to ensue.
On a particularly cool day in April a little girl with bright brown eyes and long brown curly hair knocked on the Foster home's door.
When Leigh-Anne finally opened the door the girl looked irritated.
"Hi welcome to the foster home. I'm Leigh-Anne. What's your name?" She smiled.
"Em . . . I'm Jade." The girl said somewhat miserably.
"Well we've actually been expecting you for a few months now and we wondered why you hadn't come." Leigh-Anne said assuming that this was the girl Ms. Channing had referred to.
"Who's the 'we' you're talking about?" Jade asked curiously. Her eyebrow was raised.
Leigh-Anne made gesture to the other kids and introduced them quickly as Jade entered the house and moved to the living room.
Jade stopped moving and took in a sharp breath when Ray Ray approached her. It was like her five year old heart froze.
"Hey you'll be rooming with Perrie. K?"
Jade gave her head the tiniest shake to get her body functioning again. "Sure." She said nonchalantly. She already knew she was going to hate it here. She stalked over to Perrie.
Before she got to the blond, Ray Ray tried to tell her about the rules they had, just to mess with the whole rude rebellious thing she had going but she just wasn't having it and that both irritated and intrigued him. He couldn't even focus enough to scold her for breaking Perrie's blue pen when she started talking to her. He even found the way she belittled Prodigy and Roc Royal for trying to stand up for Perrie very attractive.
He shook his head getting rid of those thoughts. He could see that she was nothing but trouble. He had a bad feeling about her staying here.

Five days later the woman came to make her usual food drop off. This time she brought two other kids with her.
"And here are the last two kids I'm ever taking. I don't think I can handle any more of y'all." She was rattling off when she had lit up a cigarette.
"You're never here! You don't take care of anybody!" Ray Ray yelled at her. "Not even yourself you sicko!"
"Well maybe I'm never here 'cause you yell all the time!" She yelled picking up her stuff. "You should be thanking me for paying the bills instead of yelling. I don't know why you so bossy!" She started leaving and Ray Ray groaned.
Ray Ray sighed looking at the two new comers. One was a boy with an afro. He had intelligent eyes and he started staring at Leigh-Anne as soon as she walked into the room.
"Oh hi . . . more children. I'm Leigh-Anne." She greeted both of them cheerily.
The other was a girl with brown hair and eyes that seemed glued to the floor. She carried a backpack and had a sad look on her face. She hadn't looked at anything but the floor since she entered the house.
"Uh. . Hello. I'm Princeton." The boy said quickly with a Mexican accent. He held out a hand to Leigh-Anne. He was already smiling at her.
"Hi Princeton." Leigh-Anne said pleasantly shaking his hand. She turned to the girl. "What's your name?"
