"The dig . . . big . . . wan . . . was . . . scary?" Perrie read off the page of a book that had eight plus written at the back a few days later. This was the lowest Jade was willing to go.

"Oh my God you are so dumb." Jade grumbled while she read an adult novel.

"I'm sorry Jade . . . It's just that . . . the the letters keep on changing and . . . Hmm" Perrie said softly.

"And you're dumb." Jade said flatly.

"I . . . I'm not that dumb." Perrie said sadly.

"Don't worry. You will learn to read . . . I'm not letting any dumb blond follow me around. It's bad enough you talk to inanimate objects you idiot." Jade put down her own book. "Read that sentence again." She eyed Perrie intensely.

"The dig" Perrie received a hit from a bat Jade pulled out of nowhere across her shoulder. "Ow." She cried.

"Again." Jade said.

"The dig" This time Jade kicked Perrie to the ground.

"The word is big! Can you describe a man as being 'dig'?" She screamed accentuating each word with a punch or kick at Perrie who was lying on the ground. "It's big okay. Dig is not an adjective! What is it?" Jade stopped kicking Perrie for a moment to listen for her answer.

"I-it's a a a noun." Perrie mumbled trying hard not to sob.

"IT'S A VERB!" Jade screamed kicking Perrie in the head causing it to whip to the side.

Jade was breathing deeply as Perrie cried in pain. They were exactly the same size but Jade was so much stronger it wasn't even funny. Perrie started whimpering. "Dig is a verb . . . and big is an adjective."

"Yes, yes! Now you're getting it." Jade commented. She helped Perrie to a sitting position and put the book in her hands again. "Next sentence."

"Perrie what happened to you?" Leigh-Anne asked later at dinner. "Why do you have a black eye?"

"I . . . I uh . . . walked into a bookshelf." Perrie mumbled. Every inch of her body hurt.

"Do we even have bookshelves here?" Ray Ray asked. "And where is Jade?"

"She went out." Perrie mumbled.

Ray Ray's eyes bulged and he tilted his head in shock. "She what?"

"I mean she . . . She's taking a nap." Perrie said softly.

"I cannot believe this! At this hour of the night! She decides to leave?" Ray Ray screamed. "Where is she? Seriously!" He yelled at Perrie.

"Jade where you going?

Perrie don't ask. It's none of your business.

But Jade it's late. I need to know.

Perrie shut up you idiot! I'm leaving so just leave me be!

Jade exits the room." Perrie recited with a dazed expression, somehow managing to mimick Jade's tone perfectly.

Everyone at the table paused.

"What the hell was that?" Ray Ray asked in alarm.

"Perrie are you okay?" Leigh-Anne asked sounding more concerned.

Perrie nodded then smiled. "I like bread . . . it smells nice."

"Oh my God. Well I'm going to look for that little bitch. Princeton you're in charge. Protect everybody." Ray Ray said getting up.

"Ray you don't have to look for her. Who cares if she dies?" Prodigy said.

"Shut up Prod. Just cause you don't care doesn't mean someone else won't. I mean Perrie likes her." Ray Ray said as he started leaving.

"Ray I'm coming with you" Perrie said getting up.

"No Perrie I don't want you getting hurt." Ray Ray said shaking his head.

"But . . . but I need to be there for Jade." Perrie mumbled.

Ray Ray shrugged. "Fine. If you insist." He was planning to lock Perrie inside.

Before Ray Ray could close the front door in Perrie's face she squeezed out past him.

"I think she's in the back yard." Perrie said.

"I thought you said that you didn't know where she was." Ray Ray grumbled wishing he just went out the side door in the kitchen that lead to the back yard.

"Can't you smell it?" Perrie asked pulling him around the house to the back.

"Smell what?" Ray Ray asked.

Just as the words escaped his lips he started smelling smoke. They hurried to the backyard where they saw a small figure hulking over an even smaller flame.

"Oh my God!" Ray Ray yelled. "Did she start a fire?" He yelled as Perrie ran at full speed towards the small figure.

"Jade!"Perrie screamed.

"You crazy bitch! What you doing with fire?" Ray Ray yelled following Perrie.

Jade startled. "What are you doing here?"

"I came for you Jade!" Perrie yelled trying to give Jade a hug.

"Get off." Jade shoved Perrie off of her and onto the ground.

"Hey don't treat Perrie that way you bitch." Ray Ray said catching up to them.

Jade stood and stomped out the fire she set. She shoved Ray Ray to the ground too and started strutting into the house.

Ray Ray was beside himself with rage wondering how the little girl who was only half his size (More like three quarters his size) had the audacity to push him to the ground. He got to his feet and then helped Perrie to hers.

Meanwhile inside.

"So how are you Leigh-Anne?" Princeton asked taking Perrie's seat next to her.

"Um . . . I'm good Princeton. How are you?"

"I'm fine . . ." He was trying to come up with something to say to make her love him. "Uh . . . Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" He asked repeating something he'd heard while he and Ray Ray were out the other day.

Leigh-Anne looked confused. "I didn't fall from heaven . . ."

"'Cause you look like an angel?" He said unsure.

Leigh-Anne squinted in confusion. "Um . . . thank you?"

Just then Jade came storming in. She stomped through the kitchen then stomped up the stairs in anger, mumbling curse words under her breath.

"That crazy bitch had a fire in the backyard." Ray Ray said coming back inside through the side door where Jade came from.

"She's not crazy." Perrie defended heading after Jade.

"Then why is she setting a fire?" Ray Ray mumbled angrily. He groaned and shook his head. "I'm going to bed and I suggest you all do the same." Ray Ray started up the stairs. "Come on Princeton."

"Oh uh, bye Leigh-Anne." Princeton rushed after Ray Ray.

"Well Leigh it's just you and us." Roc Royal said. "Let's play a game now."

Leigh-Anne shook her head. "Sorry guys . . . I'm gonna give Jesy her dinner."

"Fine we get it okay. You hate us now." Prodigy said irritated.

"No I don't. I just need to make sure she eats . . ." Leigh-Anne shrugged. "Besides she's really nice."

The two younger boys looked unimpressed and gave each other looks. "Is she really real Leigh-Anne?"

"Of course she is." Leigh-Anne stood.
