Chapter 8 - Soooo this happened..

Simon and I were not alone in the room. A few other fans where here as well, and had different kind of merchandise on them. It looked weird if I gotta be honest. I understand why people buy them, and yeah I may or may not own a few myself, but meeting the person who is on the shirt is kinda weird. Or I don't know how to say it, but it just doesn't look natural, that's all.

In the room, there was 5 other kids. One other guy, so Simon wasn't the only guy here. Everyone looked younger than me but one girl, who probably was the same age as me.
As the door opened, I squeezed my boyfriends hand super hard, because I was really nervous now. It's not like I want the boys to love me, I just don't want them to hate me. Because I obviously have a boyfriend, so why should I care what they think of me. But still, they are my idols, I've looked up to them for so long, (like literally, they are giants), and finally, thanks to my super cool lover, I get to see them. There's literally no words on how excited I am. The thing I'm most scared of now is that, what if I hug, let's say Michael, and my knees just gives in. That would be so awkward, then I guess you could say that I fell for him. 

I looked at the boys, that now stood in front of us, and I just.. I don't. I.. Uhh.. yeahhh.. Wow... They greeted everyone. And by everyone, I mean; they said "Hi" really loudly before grabbing some snacks and walked to the group and started talking, and answering some questions. 

"Thank you so much," I whispered to Simon, and he smiled down at me, "you still nervous?" it's like he can read my mind.. Or he heard how much I struggled to say that one sentence. "uhh.." I gulped, and nodded my head, in hope that he would see it. "You got nothing to worry about, Ariel," He gave me a reassured smile. "Just look at how down to earth they are! I'm sure they'll love you" He said and look towards the boys that was really into the conversations they had. I couldn't think straight, so I just kept quiet, and dragged Simon towards Calum, who stood with the boy. They talked about something, I don't know what though, all I heard was babbling to be honest, something about a game I think. I didn't want to interrupt them, so I stood quiet and listened to them, while Simon joined their conversation. They all sounded so passionate, and I guess Simon was right. At least about Calum, he was indeed down to earth, I think the other boys was it as well, but since I haven't talked to them yet, I couldn't know for sure.

"Ariel, is it?" I heard someone behind me say. Okay not gonna lie, I knew it was Luke. C'mon don't look at me like that, of course I know whose voice it is. I can even tell which boy is who by taking a look at their shoes. Okay, maybe not, but you get the point..

I turned around and nodded my head, while smiling like a fool. "And you're Luke!" I said without thinking. He smiled, and nodded his head as well, too. "Why are you so quiet? You're the only person here that doesn't talk to anyone," He said and showed with his hand around the room. And he was right, everyone was so caught up with their conversation, and I just.. I guess I'm a bit more nervous and anxious about this than the rest.

"Uhhh, yeah," I said and looked around, "I'm too excited to talk, I guess," I was hyper, so I kept moving around when I talked. When I'm nervous, I either get really hyper, or really quiet. There's no in between. "So what do think of this so far?" He asked me, and I guess he meant the whole VIP, meet & greet experience. "It has been really good so far, can't wait for you guys to perform. Really looking forward to it," I tried being cool about this, and professional, but trust me, deep down (not really that deep down,) I was freaking the fuck out. Because let's be real, my celebrity crush was in the same room as me. How could I not freak out? 

"Glad to hear! Did you come here alone?" He asked as casual as ever, like he does this on a daily basis. Wait, he actually does this daily. Oh god, I'm such a newbie. 
"Uh no, actually I didn't know I was meeting you all! Or, I mean, I know now.. or uh, duh of course I know now, I'm in front of you, and" I babbled on, before I had to swallow, and Luke only looked at me like I was stupid or something. He asked a yes or no question, it's not that hard to answer. "My boyfriend surprised me with this actually, he's here as well!" Finally Ariel, took you long enough to get to the point, "Ah really?" He said and raised an eyebrow, "Yeah," I said and pointed to Simon, who now talked to Michael and another girl. "Oh, so you're Simon's girlfriend!" He said and nodded, before it hit me, "you know him?" I asked a bit confused. "Not really, I've seen his videos, and we follow each other on twitter, that's all" he shrugged, "Oh and chatted a bit as well." He finished his sentence. "Wait are you kidding me," I blurt out, a bit jealous. "No, we actually..."

"Guys, get ready! Photoshoot time!" A random guy opened the door and yelled, interrupting whatever Luke was about to say. He and the rest of the boys walked over to a wall, with their logo on it and one by one took a photo with them. I walked up to Simon, so I didn't have to stand by myself and wait for my turn. Soon enough it was our turn, Simon took one by himself before me, just looking tall with the rest of 5SOS, then it was my turn, and I took the photo looking normal with a huge smile on my face, "Oh god" I said as I felt my heartbeat increase. 

The photoshoot was short, and everyone got a photo each with all of the boys, and they said a quick "bye" before walking out the room. Everyone in the room, and I mean everyone freaked out. I bet they all tried to play it as cool as they could, and now they could finally breath again. 

"Was it as you expected?" My boyfriend asked me as we sat in our seats waiting for the concert to begin. "Even better," I said still grinning like the biggest fool, "Why haven't you told me that you've been chatting with Luke fucking Hemmings?!" I punched him lightly on the arm. "Uhh, what did he tell you?" He seemed he bit nervous and his smile seemed a bit fake now. "Nothing, really, just that he watches your videos and he has chatted with you. He didn't say about what though," I finished and I could hear Simon breath out.

What the hell is this boy hiding now then.
