(Rydel's POV)
After Savannah went home, I stayed in my bedroom all day so that I wouldn't have to face Ryland. It was now 7:25pm and I was laid in bed wearing my hello kitty onsie while I watched TV. I was watching the Kardashians when my phone bleeped and flashed up showing a message from Ellington: "Open your Balcony door". So I stood up and walked over to the curtains, opening threm and sliding open the door to see my boyfriend stood leant against the balcony smiling. I smiled. He walked over to me.
Rydel- Hey
Ell- Hey
He placed his hands on my waist so that he could pull me closer. I placed my hands on his arms and he leant down to kiss me. Then he let go and looked at me.
Ell- You ok?
Rydel- (sighs) No
Ell- What's up?
I looked at him hestitating as to whether or not I should tell him. I sighed and went and sat down on my bed quietly. He followed and sat down next to me waiting for a response.
Rydel- Savannah likes Ryland and I think Ryland likes Savannah but he blew her off this morning
Ell- What do you mean he blew her off?
Rydel- Because they kissed this morning in the kitchen and Ryland when me and my mun caught them, he said that it was a one time thing and that it won't ever happen again
Ell- Wow
Rydel- I know and now Savannah has gone home to be alone and I know she will be upset and if so crying and I hate Ryland for what he did I mean I knew how much the kiss would have meant to Savannah and she is my best friend, she's likes a sister to me and it annoys me if someone upsets her
Ell- And I understand what you mean thats not right him blowing her off but you dont hate him and maybe he just has mixed feelings and doesn't want to rush into something that he isnt sure about
Rydel- Yeah I guess, but it still wasnt right what he did
Ell- I know and if your so upset about it then maybe you should talk to him about it
Rydel- Yeah maybe I should c'mon
Then we stood up and walked downstairs. We walked into the kitchen where everyone was.
Ross- Ellington? What are you doing here? How did you get in here?
Ell- Dells let me in before
Ross- Oh ok
And then he let it go. We sighed in relief because only the girls knew that I was dating Ellington. My mom didn't even know and I tell her everything.
Rydel- Ryland, can I talk to you a minute in private?
Ryland- Sure
So he followed me as I walked out of the kitchen and we went outside and sat on the front porch steps.
Ryland- So what's up?
Rydel- Why did you blow Savannah off this morning?
Ryland- I don't know what you mean
Rydel- Don't start acting dumb alright this morning you kissed Savannah and then totally played it off like it was nothing..why?
Ryland- (sighs) Look, it wasn't nothing ok I'm glad it happened
Rydel- Well then I don't understand..
Ryland- I blew her off because I was scared ok!
Rydel- Of What?
Ryland- I don't know I mean me and Savannah have been best friends all of our lives and I guess I'm scared that it'll will ruin our friendship if we dated and possibly even broke up
Rydel- Ryland, that's the most ridiculous thing that I've ever heard, for starters, you both like each other so there's no reason why you would break up and second, your friendship would not be ruined
Ryland- It wouldn't?
Rydel- No and you want to know why?
Ryland- Why?
Rydel- Because whoever you date and spend the rest of your life with should be your best friend no matter what
Ryland- You really think that we would be together that long?
Rydel- Of course I do, your so cute together and everybody wants you date
Ryland- Really? Even her dad?
Rydel- Sure..
He looked at me and waited for me to answer truthfully. I sighed.
Rydel- Ok so maybe not everyone but everyone else does ok so go for it
Ryland- I don't know Rydel
Rydel- Do you have feelings for her?
Ryland- Yes
Rydel- Then ask her out! If you want to be with her then do whatever it takes to make it happen
He looked at me for a few seconds.
Rydel- What?
Ryland- Your our biggest shipper aren't you? You created that Fan account on Twitter that I get daily messages from didn't you?
Rydel- (quietly) Maybe..
He laughs.
Rydel- So are you going to ask her out?
Ryland- Yeah, Yeah I am
I cheered loudly.
Ryland- Quiet! It's gonna be a suprise so I don't want anyone to know
Rydel- Oh sorry
Ryland- It's fine
Then we laughed a bit and sat in silence for like 5-10 minutes while watching the stars in the sky. Then Ryland turned to me and said something that I didn't expect and caught me off guard.
Ryland- So why didn't you tell us that you were dating Ellington?...
