CJ was on T.A.P.S. school grounds; her hair was in a puffy ponytail. Her father had agreed with Brenda about after-school activities. Unfortunately, they chose the Student Council committee, which was led by the S3s. She had to take their orders; these events would be on her permanent record. They were slightly Radikal, but they still called her Cicely. They were in preparation for the School Carnival. She was given the run-down, on the way things worked in the Council.

Lyndie was first. "Welcome! It's sooo stellar to have you!"

Margo interrupted. "Hi! So glad you're here. We have just the job for you, follow me please.

They led her to Krystal, who was standing by the fun house.

"Hi, there! I need you to cut out all these heart shapes, we're gonna hang them in the halls next month."

"Kindness is returned by kindness." Reuben said

"Um, would you please...cut these shapes out for us, Cicely?"

She turned and walks away, but stopped in mid-step. She turned around again to face her. "Oh! Uh, welcome to the Committee."

With that, she and her friends walked away.

She did just that, she didn't have to like bein the Student Council Committee, but she knew that it would shut her father and Brenda up completely.

She suddenly heard a chime from her HC Receiver, it was from Pamela.

"Incoming Message" the robotic voice said: CJ, I HEARD ABOUT YOUR CAR ACCIDENT. I HOPE YOU'RE ALRIGHT. I'M INSISTING THAT YOU TAKE SOME TIME OFF TO RECOVER, THERE'S NO RUSH IN COMING BACK. BESIDES YOU DON'T NEED TO BE OVERWORKING YOURSELF.....CONSIDER IT AN EARLY VACATION.

CJ bent down and began to work on cutting out pink shapes.

A familiar voice instantly caught her attention.

"So, you come here often?"

She looked up and saw Romy. The girl stood up to greet her. Romy's hair was completely turquoise green.

CJ was surprised. "Romy! Wow, you look--different." She smiled. "So, you're part of this Committee thing too?"

"Yeah, it takes time away from...dull life I guess."

"A-And your hair?"

Romy struck a model-like pose. "Like it?"

She nodded.  They laugh among themselves, but another makes them stop. It was a dark haired boy with matching eyes.

"'Sup, Romy. And--" He looked at Cicely. "Romy's friend."

Romy chuckled. "Hey! Zane, this is CJ. He's new here--but we go way back. CJ, this is Zane. He's my Flyer."

CJ was perplexed. "Flyer?"

Zane sighed with embarrassment. "I'm a...male cheerleader. No jokes, please."

The girl accidentally giggled, and he looked disappointed. "Oh! S-Sorry."

Zane grinned seductively at her. "Anybody ever tell you got a great laugh?" He expressed

Hearing this made her feel slightly uncomfortable. "Um, thanks?"

Romy rolled her eyes. "Seriously, Zane? You are such a flirt!"

He scoffed. "You're just jealous."

She rolled her eyes again. "Really. Of what?"

He flexed some muscles and grinned proudly. "That you'll never get any of this."

Romy chuckled in disbelief, CJ simply smirked with amusement and bent down to get back to work. The two continued their argument.

"What a bunch of bull!" Romy interjected

He felt offended. "B-Bull!?"

She responded with amusement. "Yeah, bull!"

CJ soon felt like she was being watched. She stopped, and looked around to see Peter watching her from across the street. She closed her eyes as Romy and Zane continued their argument. The girl shook her head to focus and opened her eyes. Peter was still standing there, watching her.

[No way. It's...him.] She thought

She stood, and looked at her friends. "Um, guys?"

They stopped and looked at her.

"I-I'll be back, okay?" She expressed

The cheerleader nodded. "'Kay, we'll just get back to work." She looked at Zane with disdain and continued. "'Cause this discussion is over."

CJ walked away. She looked around at everyone else, they didn't seem to even notice. She could hear Romy and Zane going at it again.

"...Because I always win!" Romy stated

"Name one time, Pardeux!" Zane expressed

Their voices faded as she moves further away from them. She walked past many crowds of people, in confusion. It seemed that no one had made any acknowledgement that Peter was even there. She moved closer to the street. In CJ's eyes, he wasn't hard to take in. She was fed up with his disappearing act, and she would face him head-on.

A small street separated them, but that wouldn't stop her, she was on her own mission. She casually walked toward him; no one seemed to notice her either. He was just standing there nonchalant; his shirt was light red. His demeanor changed to anxiety as she got closer, enough to make him glow orange. She stopped in surprise, could no one really see him? She was astonished and moved to go across to him, but hesitated. Peter cocked his head to the side, still staring at her. CJ took a deep breath and stepped forward. The girl was taken aback when she heard a loud horn. It was a freight truck, which was passing; it blocked her view of him. When it distanced, he was gone. Again. She ran across to where he was. Nothing.

[Not again. He was right here!] She was angry now, and a little confused. The girl ran back to  back over to the Committee.

Romy was there to greet her, she noticed her discouraged expression. "Hey, you okay?"

CJ simply looked at her. "I-I think I might be crazy."

Romy smirked jokingly. "Aren't we all?"

The cheerleader touched her friend's shoulder. CJ gave her a weak smile, they walked back to the others. Peter reemerged and watched her walk away. He pushed his hair in frustration. He sighed and jumped again.
