(TSF 1 or The Sub-sequent Fate) Hu-mans Path #1

     Everyone present at the cabin was upgrading his or her personal styles. All, at the impromptu fashion show, had laughs. Sebastian poked his head from his office, "History reports in one hour." He said, and retracted back inside. Everyone scrambled around to prepare for their presentations. Those who were ready would lend a hand to those who weren't.

 "Okay, it's finally finished." Anne said, Tense leaned her way 

"Wow! Looks great, Annie!" she said

     "So, how many veers are there?" CJ asked

 "Hard to say, we're kind of everywhere and nowhere. I can tell you that there are four classifications: Pathis, Fera, Mysto, and Elemental. I'm an Arbour, my classification is Elemental. Which means that I can control, and manifest anything involving the earth. Rocks, bricks, wood, dirt, and concrete pretty much--not to mention the whole healin' thing." Peter expressed

The Cabin was at a far distance, and the walk was long. He decided to tell her the truth, to avoid the dreaded silence.

 "Elementals, control the elements, obviously. Water, Fire, yada yada. Feras are the animal-like ones. They could have fangs, claws, and fur." he winked at her as a joke. "If they chose to fully transform, or they could just have animal-like powers. Sight of a hawk, reflexes of a cat--stuff like that. Pathis deal with the mind, T. Pathis can control minds, and T.K. Pathis have telekinesis. It's pretty cool if you get to see it. But the best, are the Mystos. They're the really magical ones. They're the Mythological, and the impossible. Speed of a cheetah, half-gryphon, illusionists--that sorta thing."

Minutes later, they could see a Cabin in the distance.

   Still donning their new improved fashion garments, all were ready to present. Devin and Hortensia were coupled up on the couch. Elise watched from the love seat. It always made her happy to see her friends so in love. She didn't have a better half in her life, so she always wished for everyone in the world to find that someone. She never bothered to wish for herself, out of her own fear. Being an ambitious female was intimidating. But a female, ambitious veer? That was terrifying. Devin put his arm around Elise; his brotherly act for her, she smiled. Devin's reaction had immediately changed. 

"We got company." He stated. Everyone watched the door. All grabbed their weapons, from their hidden holsters, only hu-mans preferred guns. 

"Who is it?" Liam asked

"I'm not...sure." He replied 

The teens aimed their weapons at the doorframe, awaiting their mystery guest. Nate grabbed a sniper rifle and headed to the roof. Once there, he peered through the lens and noticed Peter walking with someone.

"No, not again." He said to himself

He grunted with annoyance and jumped to the ground. He landed on his feet and ran back inside.
