The T.A.P.S. Cheerleaders were welcoming all Rangers, with an impromptu routine. Romy and her best friend, Piper were leading their squad. Everyone was being entertained, they were watching from the Stadium bleachers. Hudson was dancing beside them, in his mascot uniform; the S3s were watching him closely. Romy loved to perform, she was destined to be an actress, CJ was there, and her hair was in a spiked, curly updo. She made faces whenever Sgt. Gainor casually looked at her. She made courteous faces whenever Zane casually looked her way.
The crowd cheered when they finished. They saluted and bowed; CJ rolled her eyes. Everyone retired to the main event; the Ranger Fair. CJ saw Will; he was standing by a metal desk. She saw that it was covered in pamphlets and brochures. She also saw that he was wearing a different Ranger uniform.
She ran over to him frantically. "OMG! Ranger, you're like soooo cool! And handsome too. C-Can I feel your biceps?"
He struck heroic pose and chuckled. "Don't bruise my ego, Ceej."
She looked at his clothes. "New look?"
"Got a promotion. I'm a Major now." He boasted
The girl felt nervous. "Cool, um--" She sat on the brochures. She looked down, thinking of the right words. "There's...something that we really need to talk about."
He looked at her with concern. "Oh, no. I'm so stupid for forgetting! How are you feeling? We haven't really talked since the medical."
She chuckled nervously. "Well, a lot's happened."
He leaned in closer and touched her shoulder for comfort. "CJ, what is it?"
Will always had the most gentle eyes in her opinion. She took a deep breath. She was ready to respond, but she stopped when she saw Romy coming toward them. CJ hopped down to the floor. Romy approached with her best-friend, Piper. They had changed out their cheer uniforms.
"Hey, Glitter Girl. I didn't know that you were friends with Rangers."
CJ smiled bashfully, Will responded.
"Friends? We're more like...family." He held out his hand to Romy. "Major William King, nice to meet you."
She shook his hand. "Romy Pardeux. It's nice to be met."
She seemed more like herself, out of uniform. She loved spiked leather jackets and long flowing skirts. She wore boots, and lace blouses, to match her lace socks.
Piper chuckled as they shake hands. She looked at Will. "Forgive her. She has no manners sometimes. I'm Piper, it's so nice to meet you both."
She looked at CJ. "Sorry, I'm not on the Committee. So we've never been introduced. But, Ro's told me lot's about you." Piper said, they all stopped when they heard a horn blow.
It was Hudson in his costume, minus his giant head; he avoided eye contact with Romy.
Vice Principal Bolton was with him along with Sgt. Gainor, Malcolm, and Kyle.
"Let the festivities commence!" Their Vice Principal said, everyone cheered and began to walk around.
"Okay, all TAPS students should be in there! She had on a school uniform, so she'll stand out!" Elise said. She was searching for CJ, per Sebastian's orders. She wasn't supposed to be noticed; just a simple watcher. Changers ties were dangerous things, so she had to be prepared, for anything. She continued walking around.
"Excuse me, I'm sorry! Sorry. Please, excuse me!" She panicked some more .
[It's okay! I'll find her.] "I-It's too loud in here! I can't focus like this."
