Epilogue
Brandon's POV
1 year later....
L.A. has treated both Callie and I well. I'm now teaching classes at UCLA as well as attending them. My professors told me recently that I'm one of the best pianists to ever come through the program. That makes me feel pretty good about myself. I also got to play Disney Hall again, which was incredible. Next month, I get to play several galas in L.A. for multiple causes. I'm even going to be playing at one Robert Downey Jr is hosting. FREAKING ROBERT DOWNEY JR! They even gave me special meet and greet passes to get some photos with him. I'm geeking out so much.
As for Callie, we're only in our sophomore year and is already been discovered. She recently signed a record deal with Capital Records. The deal being as she finishes the rest of her college years, she can record and tour on the west coast and the surrounding states. That's a pretty great deal with you ask me.
I can't help but marvel at our success. We both started out at the bottom and were able to rise to the top. As for marriage, Callie and I do plan on getting married, but we want to wait a couple more years. Education and careers come first right now.
Here's what everyone else is up to:
Mariana is now a senior and the class president. Who knew that Mariana would be bossing everyone around? Oh wait, I did. Jesus decided to give wrestling another try. Some recruiters have been to his recent matches and are giving him good scholarship offers. Connor moved back to San Diego three months ago so Jude is no longer lonely. AJ ended up becoming a police officer on the force. He's partners with my dad Mike and Stef quite often. My dad has a lovely new girlfriend named Patrice. Stef and Lena just celebrated their fourth anniversary with a getaway to Hawaii. They came back with a very relaxed attitude. In the end, I think everyone got their fairytale story in one way or another.
