Chapter 8: Shocked

The next day, "Attention everyone! I would like to invite all of you to my party in my house this Saturday since I would be making a Valentines Day party!" Olivia invited the whole class or even the whole school to her party. 

"OMG we should go!" Said Sophie excitedly

"Oh I don't know" I replied

"I need to ask my mom for that, you know my Mom usually don't allowed me go to any party right " Bri sighed

"But we must go! Its our first party in high school! And think of all the hot boys there plus Isaac will be there!" Sophie pouted

"Well we still have time to think about all that since it's on the Saturday. Now it's time for our next class. Lets go" said Kelly while pushing Sophie to our next class.

After school, we all went to our favourite hang out place at the mall but this time it's with Eric. We had our late lunch there.

"Em, can you friend me to some store I need to buy something." Asked Eric
"Hmm what would I get from it?" I replied playfully

"Oh maybe something really big and special!" He answered

"Really?! What is it?! Tell me!" I was excited to know well I don't really like surprises but I don't hate them either.

"You'll see" he said with a smirk

" Tell me first! What is it?!" I begged him

"No! You'll have to wait! So do you wanna come or not?" He asked again

"Ughh fine!" I gave up and walking toward him because he's already standing outside the cafe.

"Aww this couple fight is so cute" said Gabriel but I just ignore it and I just hope Eric didn't hear it.

I just follow Eric and he doesn't says anything. He was quiet and it's getting awkward. So I decided to say something."Eric, where are we going?" I asked

"I need you to help me pick up some things because I need a girl's opinion on this" he replied as he went inside a store full with decorations for Valentines Day.

"Wow you have a girlfriend?! Why you never tell me about all these?! Omg who is she? Is she someone that I know? Oh tell me tell me please?" I asked and begged him to tell me. But he just kept quite and walked to the cards section.

"Which one do you thing a girl would like?" He asked while looking at some of the cards

"Pfft you really don't want to tell me don't you." I said with a disappointed tone but he just ignore it.

"That one looks nice and it's cute" I told him while pointing towards the card with a red ribbon and there's a heart in the middle. He just nod and we went to a different section and we did the same thing. After we went to every section of in the store then I thought he was going to buy something but he didn't. We went out empty handed.

As we were walking, I asked him "Why didn't you buy anything?" And he replied "Nahh maybe later"

"Okay. So now wheres my reward " I said as I turned to face him. But he just kept quiet and walk a a few step ahead of me. Well I do have short legs so that usually happen when you walk with someone who's way taller than you. I kept on whining  about my reward just to annoyed him. Yeah I'm annoying but I only do it to people that I am close with. 

Out of the sudden, he stop walking and turned his body towards my direction and he grabbed my wrist, pulled my body towards him. I thought he was angry "E-erric?" I said with a shaky voice. We were in the middle of the mall and he..he...hugged me.
